Alright...here is my 2 cents on this subject. I own car stereo shops in Las Vegas, so take it for what it is. I personally don’t think that any car should be without an alarm system. I don’t care if it’s as simple as install a flashing led in your dash that turns on thru a relay when you turn your ignition off. That will detour the "casual thief" and upon my estimation in about 60% of the vehicle thefts in my area. Now, everything you do from here is a benefit. If you have a 2 way paging alarm that notifies you at the remote (i.e. while you are sleeping) That allows you to "react"

You can use an n3 brain on a n1/2 unit and then put the n1 brain back on it and it is the same n1 that you remember... And by the way, This modifaction IS HARD! I finally have done 3 correctly...I punked the first one though...(one of the few benefits of owning a shop these days is having a few spares around! ) If anyone is interested in this modification, I will do it for $250 (including the chip) and insured returned shipping. Lol seriously is everyone really that quick to ridicule? It’s a lot funnier to do it in public; my favorite is a Vegas club! At least you get to see the person you are ridiculing! I have a customer that I think attempted an upgrade or something...I tried using the z2 upgrade disc (unit is a z2) and it wouldnt take after 3 days on display. So then, I decided to try the HD upgrade to Z3 image. The Z3 image (full restore just to be safe) installed fine, the unit showed it was upgrading for about 15 seconds, tried to reboot, then reboots 3 times after about 15 seconds of attempted booting, then crashes...sorry Im rambling..its 3 am here and I am frustrated! lol Any advice would be appreciated...I have other units, will try another drive after this msg, but also read s
