I just installed this model in my car today. Not sure if it can be bypassed with the normal way. It requires you you to release and reactivate the handbrake and pressing okay on the screen. Maybe a firmware hack? You could put the parking brake sensor on a switch and run it manually I suppose. EDIT- Just found this on EBay: LINKY
