Just wanted to thank rgarjr for this post, even though it was a couple of years ago It tried these settings with AVS Video Converter on my AVIC-Z140BH and it works perfect!!!!

I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I happen to like the new NAV system in the Z140BH. It is very fast and, for me, very easy to use.

Yes it is the same exact bypass procedure. I just recently applied it to my new AVIC-Z140BH before I installed it and it works perfect

s4audi, I recently installed an AVIC-Z140BH into my SLK55 AMG and had the exact same issue. I received a powered antenna adapter as part of a kit that I ordered from Dietz Electronics and it turned out to be a bad adapter. I went to the local electronics store and purchased a standard antenna adapter and now it works perfect. Who ever did the install should fix this for you. There should be no reception issues at all with the new radio. Also, please fill out your profile so people will know what region of the world you live in Thanks and good luck

Hey everyone, Yesterday I ordered an AVIC-Z140BH from Pioneer Electronics . The order was completed and shipped the same day!! I have a UPS Tracking number that shows delivery to my house on Monday the 26th by the end of the day. I am so happy to finally get this unit. Have been waiting a while for it to be released. I am installing it in my 2006 SLK55 AMG. I have had everything to install the radio for a while now and now the final piece is on it's way!! If anyone has any questions of requests then let me know I will do my best to take pics of the install.
