1. Hello, My AVIC-D1 unit failed and I'm looking to purchase the AVIC-U310BT in its place. Will my existing XM Tuner (GEX-P10XMT) work with the U310BT? Also, is the power connector the same between units, so that it will be an easy replacement? Thanks in advance!
2. Hello, I replaced the touch screen (sensor assembly) on my AVIC-D1 and when putting it back together, I accidentally broken the clip for the ribbon cable to stay in (the cable that connects the monitor to the unit). Any ideas for how I can get the cable to stay now without buying a whole new board? Would super glue work? Any ideas/help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
3. Hello, I have an AVIC-D1 that has a problematic touchscreen. I calibrated it with the instructions found here, but the touchscreen continues to not take input anywhere on the screen most of the time. It's very strange because it records touches just fine in the calibration menu, but during normal operation, it doesn't accept any touches. Another weird thing that it does is it'll make the map go flying across the screen even though I'm not touching it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
4. Hello The DVD drive in my AVIC-D1 is on its way out. The unit resets itself muliple times when I turn on the car while it's trying to spin up the map DVD. Is it difficult to replace the DVD drive? Where can I purchase a replacement drive? Thanks in advance!
5. Would it be possible for anyone to post either the RAR or ISO on an FTP site?
6. See if this helps: http://torrentfreak.com/how-to-create-a-torrent/
7. I went into the service screen and traced the white line and then tapped each of the crosshairs, but how do you save the new calibration? After I went through these two steps, it appears the only way to get out of the service screen is to reset the radio. When I do this it seems like the re-calibration that I just did, does not save. Any ideas?
8. I have an AVIC-D1 and I tried plugging my MP3 Player into the "audio input" RCA connectors in the back of the unit, but I get nothing on the radio. When I go to the source menu it doesn't seem to detect anything... I can't touch on the AV or AUX input in the source menu. Am I doing something wrong?
9. It's definetly been below freezing here in the mornings... probably in the low 20's - high teens.
10. I have an AVIC-D1 installed in my car and when I start my car when it's cold outside, for the first minute or so, the AVIC unit has a whining sound either from the internal fan or from the disc spinning up. If it warm outside, it does not do this. The sound goes away once it seems to warm up after a minute or so, but should I have this checked out? Does anyone else's AVIC do this?
11. Hello, I have a Ford Fusion and I like the following image: https://home.comcast.net/~reddolphin/fusion.jpg I'm not too good with Photoshop though, so I was hoping someone here could help make this look even better, so that I can put it as my background on my D1. Thanks in advance!
12. It worked for about 3 months and I got in the car one morning and got nothing. There is no sound and I cannot change the station. It won't even play the sirius preview station. Anyone else ever have this problem?
13. I have tried two different tuners and I still have the same issue. The AVIC-D1 unit is recognizing that the tuner is connecting because it is available in the source menu, but where it should display the song title, it just scrolls the word "SIRIUS". I can't imagine that I've been the only one with this issue. I called Pioneer and they seem to think it is the Sirius tuner, but I have the same problem with two different tuners. Any ideas? I pressed the rest button on the AVIC-D1 unit, but that didn't help. Is there some kind of way to do a "hard reset"? Thanks!
14. So I got a different SIR-PNR1 tuner and I still have the same issue. 15. Hello, I got in my car this morning and tapped the "Sirius" source to turn on the satellite radio and it goes to the Sirius screen, but nothing works. Where it would normally display the song title, it just says "Sirius" and if I move the little joystick to the left or right, it makes the bing sound as if it is changing station, but nothing happens. I turned off the unit, plugged all cables from the Sirius receiver, plugged them back in and still nothing. Also, I made sure that the fuse for the sirius receiver is NOT blown. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
