  1. i POD classic works fine with D3. Havent tried video yet, just music.
  2. OK, thats a good idea. I guess I can use one of the aux outs to sub and keep the four door speakers. Thanks! I was just trying to keep it inexpensive. I think amplified subs are expensive.
  3. I just installed the AVIC D3 in my 07 Ram hemi QC _myself_. It isnt that hard. Call up sonicelectronix.com, and they will sell you the accessories you need. There is a Schroth harness that plugs into the factory harness and solders to the leads coming out of the D3. They also hae a Schrothe mounting kit with a mounting ring that fills the extra space around the d3. If you dont have the factory navigation bezel, you can buy one on ebay. They have em in differnt colors with a sqaure cutout. You also need a metra brand antenna adapter that lets you plug your factory antenna into
  4. I decided I want to keep it simple and NOT get an external amp. Decided to try to make the most of the built in amplifier. I've got a 2007 Ram Quad cab. Front doors are 6x9. Rear doors are 6.5 I Just received 4 speakers from crutchfield Boston sx95 for front and sx65 for rear. Was reading the manual and instead of using the rear speakers, you can use the rear output for a sub and set up a HPF for the front speakers. Crutchfield has some compact bazooka tube subs that have low RMS rating. This sounds like it would work well _in theory_ but wondering if this will work well.
  5. Just installed AVIC D3 and everything went smooth. Sounds and works great. The only strange thing is that every time I go to the NAV menu after starting up, there is a Warning Message that I have to select "OK" to accept the license agreement. Is there a way to get rid of this, or is this possibly a problem with power continuity when ignition is off?
