  1. That was one of the things I liked about the Pioneers was the "Sync" like features. Seems to be a mixed bag on how well it works.
  2. I thought with being a CE device and all the hacking I'd join the club. My first impressions though, not so good. I could not stand the lag and then updated to 2.0. I still think it lags too much (have to press a button a couple times). I also can not stand the button beep! I do like the graphics over the Kenwood which seems to be the downside and why nobody wants the Kenwood. But I prefer functionality first. The knob is much better on the Kenwood with the Pioneer not sticking out far enough. Boot up time though slower I have no issues with. I would just like to ask, what does work good on t
  3. That's how it works with Sirius. I assume its the same for XM.
  4. I bought a scratch and dent from Crutchfield for 84.99.
  5. If that's the case then why didn't somebody put an end to the other Sirius display thread. If this is the fix to the crap Sirius display problem then it's great! Deal done, problem over! I do have a home Sirius unit though so would I have to pay 12.99 for XM and then 12.99 for Sirius?
  6. From what I read I think I'll hold off on buying a tuner.
  7. Not that I don't believe you but where is the best place for updated merger info like that? I should also say that I know about the Best of scenarios which I do not care for.
  8. Cool, so for all the people, me included, that hate the Sirius display on the Pioneers you can get the XM tuner and be fine? I thought we needed to buy new hardware to aquire both.
  9. Correct, GQRilla. Select 4 line and you can see multiple lines of Sirius info. Norcalmike, I hope you didn't get rid of it because you couldn't get all the info at once.
  10. Well I'm sorry but I had the same unit. It shows more than one line. Read the manual!
  11. That is false. If anything its the SB-10 module. The SCC1 worked fine with the Kenwood DNX5120.
  12. As far as I can see (and through my own experience) it is independent of listings. The seller I used (http://myworld.ebay.com/stereoneeds/), didn't mention cashback in their listing. I just clicked the ad from live.com, the top of the ebay page said "Microsoft cashback 25%". When I went to purchase it, the top of the purchase page still had the Microsoft cashback icon and I think there was another icon in the middle of the page. As long as you come from live.com through the ad and see the cashback icon on the top of the page, I think you are good. you should be able to use any seller.
  13. Mr. HOMO, my post was sarcastic, see the little smiley face?
  14. Yikes, a little cranky today.
  15. Anybody have a better answer?
