I just purchased the AVIC-D3X for my 1930 Model A Ford. I have a question about connecting the pink Car Speed Signal Input wire. I have a 6 volt system and I have an inverter to a 12 volt system. I don't have anything to connect the pink wire to. It is recommded that I purchace a pulse generator (ND-PG). This cost around $200.00 +. Do I need to install pulse generator?
