Can the TOM TOM software or APP be put into the firmware Z120BT
sumwereinsilence replied to duner's topic in Hacks/Mods
To all the people wanting all these mods, why not just build a carputer w/ centrafuse or some other overlay for the OS? Cost should come out the same if not cheaper. -
Use http://www.rapid8.com to download the rapidshare files.

Okay basically figured it out myself. Problem is mostly with my phone I believe, to get the it to connect my phone and have play/pause button working, i have to connect my phone make a call and then start the media player. Its annoying, but the n900 isnt really a finished product either. On the left hand side where two lines are is that supposed to display anything? Mine hasnt which isnt a huge deal anyways. So far loving this thing and only had it for a day.

Not really a huge concern, just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. I notcied today my unit had Bluetooth Audio and was stoked!!! Everything plays once i connect my phone, but when i go to the bluetooth audio section in the 110bt and hit connect it says, "Start Audio device" or something along those lines. My phone is a Nokia N900 and does have AVRCP. I was just wondering if anyone had this issue and if theres a fix tehy did for their phone. I only wondered because I LOVE dance music, so i connect to internet radio stations and germany adn wanted to be able to pause from the unit

I know this is off a european version of the site, but it matches the model number of what you ordered and show 07/10. Im probably completely wrong about thsi though http://www.pioneer.eu/files/chi/Preisliste_CAR.pdf -
Thats a really good deal. I know "cost" at best buy is 762$. I still went for the z110 as after MIR it was gonna be cheaper still.

Yes, thats true, but it also (atleast at this frys) has no accessories, i figured by the time i got no warranty, bought a gps antenna, and i think u have to a mic (not sure though) and 8% tax that it was just easier to go with cartoys. Im kicking myself for not jumping on the al-eds still haha.

Did you get it from the frys in phoenix? I was going to buy that one last night until it took them 15 mins to get it turned on lol
-
Okay thanks thats what i needed to know =]

I may still try and talk them down, if i can get them to take off 15% for it being a display i may just get it. Or does that mean i wont have a warranty either, i may have to go with car toys and wait for the rebate

Does anyone know if you buy a unit from frys electronics if you can still get the MIR? The guy at the store told me no, but I would think a company that big would be an authorized dealer.

I have a 2004 Alero. I was prevoiously going to get a x920bt until i dug some more and realized with a software update Id be getting a better deal on a z110bt. On my readings tonight i realized some folks were complaining about GM's un-standard stereo sizes, so i decided I better look up to see if the unit would fit and sadly Crutchfield showed that it would not fit, but the Kenwood DNX9960 would. I decided to look up the dimensions of the two units and from what i can tell the kenwood is coming in slightly bigger. Avic Z110bt Dimensions (W × H × D): Chassis: 178mm × 100mm × 165mm (7
