  1. The person who wrote that review is full of crap and is just trying to be funny. He is talking out his ***. There is not going to be an external keyboard for the unit.
  2. It also says it DOES NOT support SDHC, which is a big downer. I thought non SDHC cards only came in sizes of 2gb maximum. You are mistaken. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820171355 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820208337 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211244 Just a few examples of what's out there.
  3. If I remember correctly, I think I read it is only compatible with FAT32. However, there are lots of free utilities out there that will allow you to format any drive size in a FAT32 format. I have done this with my external drive so that my xbox can read it. Here is a link to the free utility that I use. Yes, it is safe. Yes it works. Just follow the directions exactly and you will be set. http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?fat32format.htm p.s. Keep in mind your HDD would need to be 2.5" or smaller so that the head unit can power it. If it's any bigger you will need
  4. Nevar! There will always be a bypass. It's just a matter how difficult it will be to find/do.
  5. The engrish on that site is impecable. Would make me feel really safe buying a product from them.
  6. What was said earlier about the rollers is that when they are rolled they give a signal just like a button press after each click of being rolled. In other words, it should work just fine. Also, the RNS-E will not put out a flat signal. Yes, I know that there are people who claim it will and "have" the data to prove it. However, the built in processing of the unit is not defeatable therefore meaning it will never be truly flat. If your car didn't come with the RNS-E I would upgrade to the 900bt. That is what I will be doing when it comes out.
