  1. There's a guy on here an multiple on ebay selling a simple fix for password lock out. I believe its test mode... there must be a simple walk through step by step that hes selling.
  2. I have test mode on a usb, and can see the options on boot up. Can someone lead me through the steps to see the password please. Chris
  3. Can someone PM me the test mode file? I am a Pioneer dealer and I would like to help a customer get their password on the 4100. I've done the old avic 750/850 before. Can I just load on an SD card, boot, get in view and get out like the old units? Do I have to do on a flash drive? Would you mind walking me through the password part. I've read this and I'm a little thrown about writing stuff down because it clears ect. Just would like to get in, see the password and get out if it's as easy as the old ones. Thanks, Chris @ Car Toys
  4. On the sd card when I open it on the computer should I see multiple files (4) unzipped? Right now I just see one file and nothing happens on the avic.
  5. Simply tring to get the password to an avicx930. I just saved the file to my sd card with nothing else on it. When I enter the sd card to the unit nothing happens. when I view the sd card I see the file named 1.4 base install via test mode. Am I doing something wrong? I am a dealer that has a unit locked up by a customer, and pioneer even wants to charge us to unlock. -Chris

  7. Where is the manual? I only can find the press release. Are the vehicle dynamics still there? Is the hard drive gone that would allow you to rip a cd?
  8. May have been asked, but does the AVI-Z110BT have phone number look up that the Avic-D3 did? I loved the D3 and hated the F90 as far as how the nav operated, and that phone number look up was pulled out.
  9. I have upgrade disks for the D3. Scanned and printed directly on the DVD. Looks like the factory disks! PM me anytime.
  10. I have 6 addresses so far that do not come up on the F700 that do on my D3. All of them happen to be on State HWY 20 in washington. Pioneers response was that no addresses will come up for people living on Highways. Any thoughts? Did they scale back the Nav since its on flash memory now?
  11. BT question. If you walk up to you car talking on your phone and start it up, what happens to the call? Does it kick over to the unit or continue on the handset?
  12. I was just called by our Pioneer rep that say he will have an update in our hands tomorrow. I asked him what the update will fix, and he said he will not have any further details until he has it tomorrow. We called him last Friday and told him we want to return all of our F units, that our sales staff were afraid to sell them, and he said that they were supposed to have something by Monday (yesterday) and to hang tight a few more days. I will post any new info tomorrow.
  13. Go to the AV settings, and make sure the AV1 input, is set to ipod. Worked perfect! Thanks!
  14. When I plug in my ipod I have no audio... audio works fine on everything else. You can see that its playing. Anyone have any thoughts?
