never mind i did just the 2 wire bypass and it works great, also i did the gracenote update and didn't mess up the bypass

just one more thing before i do this, does the wire that needs to be bypassed on the rca harnesses on the input (near the fm antenna) or the output harness (near the power harness) and if the update iso software doesn't load, will my z2 be useless

i just got my z2 today. so all i have to do is download that file, burn as an image, load it on to the z2, do the 2 ground wires and i'm all set?

ok i did it with the switch that i still had in the car from my other radio bypass and it worked.

just a quick question, when i ground it out can i leave it on a switch so this way if i ever get pulled over i can just turn it off?
