  1. I'm not trying to be smart but I'm assuming that you only want to use copies, otherwise just put the music video in and It plays just like a DVD. HiFiSi's Divx suggestion is a great way to put multiple files on one disc. I picked up a 30GB Ipod Video from eBay for $100 and have over 1000 songs and 20 movies on it with plenty of space open for more.
  2. Thanks, the dash sounds like a winner. My GPS is more of a novelty than anything, My D3 was purchased mainly so I could use my iPod on the road and watch movies while waiting for the girlfriend to come out of the store!
  3. I couldn't find an answer to this but has anyone mounted the D3 antenna on the inside of an SUV rear hatch glass. How does it work? I have a 03 Ford Explorer.
  4. We dont need a legal recourse. These aren't needs, they are wants. We choose to purchase them and if we dont, we loose nothing. However, you basically reinforced my statement, It's the American Way, go to Japan or China and these are cheaper. Enjoy your weekend, I just finished converting all three Indiana Jones' movies to Divx and I'm on the road tomorrow!
  5. go to Japan, the parts are cheaper. The American Way is to charge what you can get for it. It doesn't make a difference who makes it, it matters who sells it. Why do you think American companies go overseas to make a product cheaper and ship it back to sell it here? The American way! If you think Pioneer pays even close to $200 for the disc I feel sorry for you.
  6. isn't it amazing that Garmin can sell a navigation disc of the entire U.S. for $100 but stereo companies sell them for over $200? Think it's a profit thing? Of course it is! The American way.
  7. B+ for the unit B for the manuals C- for Pioneer's customer support - only for "acting" like they were concerned F for Pioneer's upgrade/patch support A++++++ for avic411 support!
  8. While it's true that Apple has nothing to do with their items not working with pioneer's product, it is up to Pioneer to support their products that they hype as being the cutting edge in technology. If you say it works with the iPod and will control it, then it's up to you to support your claims and offer the correct patches or updates to make your product work correctly and not just replace it with a new unit unless you're going to replace the old unit you sold with a new one. The only other option is to list the known problem so the buyer can decide if he wants to deal with them. Pioneer do
  9. All the video ipods except the iPod Classic. The best deal is the iPod 5th Gen. You can get them on ebay around $150
  10. Check my post on the Ford Forum. It shows where I found it on my explorer. This may help you, I'm not familiar with your truck but the location and color may be the same for you. http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/sho ... p?t=215191
