Have you tried clicking the DVD screen so you get a menu, then select top menu? It almost needs a refresh of whats going on before you can see the video.

Hey Bling, I have the exact same problem. Mine is wired through a Metra harness to retain the factory amp in a 2002 Lexus IS300. Were you able to find a resolution to this? Does anyone here have experience with this same problem? Thanks.
