Thanks All, issue has been resolved. I had to sync up the buttons as the remote was set to Mode 3 and for avic it needs to be set to mode 1. All is well thanks

What type of BB do you have. You should be able to send all of them at once to your avic. It worked like a charm with an 8830 curve.

Its not the echo noise is the problem but rather there voice being low when they talk. They can hear you loud and clear but not the other way around, is what my self and others are having problems with.

Strange thing but cant seem to figure it out. I just got my CD-SR1 remote and normally its pretty much remove the sticker off the battery and a way you go. Well the menu and the bluetooth button on the remote does not work at all. The volume and source/band buttons work prefect but nothing else does? Do the menu and the buletooth button need to be configured/sync for them to talk to my avic? Is there somthing wrong with the remote, or does those buttons not work with the upgrade drive to z3. The remote was bran new as well Any idea Thanks

It is a very neat future. It can save up to 10 songs and when one of them is on it will alert you with a display asking you if you want to jump or stay. Howver you must be listening to xm/sirius for it to alert you, you can not be on like cd or basic radio etc.

Now I feel better, because I'll be getting a new phone once the Blackberry Storm debuts. I have an HTC and noticed that the bluetooth takes some time to connect and sometimes I have issues where the radio would mute when a call came in but the callers voice would still be coming through the phone as opposed the car speakers. Other than that I'm satisfied with the call quality. Yes trust me been there and had troubles with the qualtlily of the bluetooth with my old HTC phone. HTC DOES NOT build there bluetooth very feel at all. I ended up getting a curve and wow what a big difference

I had the same issue with the bluetooth and it not connecting a few times. After further troubleshooting it ended up being the bluetooth built in to my HTC phone. Yes thats correct all HTC phones SUCKS and has a crapy bluetooth. I picked up a blackberry curve and it connects withen secs everytime i turn on bluetooth via phone. KillaICM, it looks like you need a bigger harddrive.

Couldn't agree anymore with djmixmac, Well said Sir. I personaly like the Z3 but the only issue I have would be the bluetooth being to low and can not really hear the other person on the other line. In regardes of the IPOD, I heard the same and nor do I care about it cause I like my music on the HDD instead and like siruis radio instead as well. To answer your question about the HDD drive. I myself have the exact same proble, but didn't do anything about it yet. However on my Crackberry curve the sound. sounds better then my old HTC s720. Will keep you posted if i hear somthing.

Yes for the z3 models you will need to do the 2 wire by-pass.

Congrad on the purchase. The two wire by-pass allows you to change nav settings while the car is in motion. Also it allows you to watch dvd movies while the car is in motion. Note, Be certian on what you are doing as it is not recommand to do this bypass as you should not do anything while driving and keep your eyes on the road at all times. But, we all did it. From my experience I like them. However i find the z3 a lot better because (keeping in mind we are talking about naving here) it takes you right to the front door or destination of where you are going. Like other z2,z1 models, they will take you to the area but not to the front door as the z3 does. Best

Your best bet is to get an z1 for cheap and upgrade it to z3 with a pre-loaded z3 drive ready, or unlock it and update it your self.
