  1. oops, should have noted when adding a Parrot BT module, not the Pioneer
  2. One thing that has bugged me when people use the mute wire to bypass a D3 is when the customer comes back in to have the bluetooth module installed. You now have an empty pin where the mute wire should be... easy fix though not an issue for the F series since the BT is built-in
  3. now keep your eyes on the road all... the only complaints I have about this unit so far: 1- if you try to use the nav while listening to music on a USB thumb drive the audio cuts out. works fine with CD/FM/SD/IPOD with no problems 2- when making a phone call the display automatically switches to the Map display (not sure why it would do this) 3- audio from bluetooth is terrible on the other end (the person you called) even though they sound fine in the car (probably the shitty pioneer mic, although previous BT units sounded fine?)
  4. customer has not called back with any problems yet...
  5. I'll let you know if the customer calls back later with any issues, but we took it on a 45 minute test drive and everything worked fine. And, FWIW, I've been installing since 1990 and work at an authorized XXXXXXX dealer.
  6. video from the pioneer/ipod video cable there is no dvd drive so you get no dvd video (buy the F90BT) you need to bypass it to use the nav menus without pulling the parking brake
  7. I can confirm that I just installed it in a 2006 Audi A4 and it works regardless of how fast you are going.
  8. From WIRE SIDE of small white plug Mute wire (YEL/BLK) is in upper row, left pin Move this wire to lower row, 4th pin from the left (empty pin between 2 black wires) the pin directly below the mute wire does not work Ground YEL/BLK & LT GRN and you're good to go You're welcome...
