  1. Seriously. WTF?! Something is going on behind the scenes on wireless carplay. Apparently the protocol is there and built into iOS9, and is "available for for partners to use it". But when Volkswagon planned to demo it at CES... Apple asked them not to. Check it out... http://9to5mac.com/2016/01/08/vw-wireless-carplay/
  2. Mercedes is already looking into aftermarket options to retrofit older models http://9to5mac.com/2014/03/06/mercedes-benz-working-on-aftermarket-carplay-installations-for-older-vehicles/#more-313384
  3. I think Apple will want it integrated in as many OEM and aftermarket units as soon as possible - to take over market share. With people buying new cars on average every 5-6 years, that's a long road to gain any significant portion of the total user base of automobile drivers.
  4. REALLY EXCITED for Pioneer to build a head-unit that supports CarPlay! I think I speak for a lot of people... that this is exactly what we have been waiting for... for a very long time.
  5. As the title reads... Wanting to update my F90BT. I can't seem to find the USA 2012 "CNSD-300FM" available for sale anywhere. I see it listed at Crutchfield and ABT... but neither have it in stock. Is this truly available?...somewhere else?... or just sold out? (weird) thanks!
  6. Also chiming in here... My F90BT and iPhone 5 work perfectly fine connected using Apple's Lightning to 30-pin Adapter and the regular Pioneer cable that came with my nav. w000t!!!
  7. Question... Why are you guys doing firmware 3.0..... and not 4? 4 rocks. really fast and responsive...
