i have the unit apart and i'm trying to attach the new glass to the LCD module, but it's not staying in place. Is it suppose to stick on, or does it just get sandwiched in place between the metal and the plastic? Anyone know?

nevermind, just detached it from the ipod interface couldn't have been easier.

hey fellas i'm in the process of removing my unit to replace the glass screen i cracked a while back and i'm having some trouble getting the USB cord out the back of the unit. Do any of ya'll know if this even comes out? Or do i need to keep this cord in place and just unplug where it attaches to the USB/Ipod interface cord? Here's a pic....im talking about the black cord coming out next to the fan TIA

vegas sorry i wasnt more specific, ive had my 90bt since december with the version 2.0 already installed, i dont have any mods besides the hardware bypass and ive never had any problems with it before. the problems started about 3 weeks ago with the rebooting then led to the problem i mentioned below. thinking about it more now, the problems started a few days after i uploaded a new splash screen (for the first time). in fact the 90bt i had previously (also with the updated 2.0 firmware) started acting up right after i uploaded a new splash screen. not sure if that means anything just som

hey guys im having the same problems most of yall are but i think mines a little different. at first my unit started rebooting every 2 minutes or so, but now it doesnt even reboot. when i start the car it will show the splash screen for about 35 seconds and then just completely go black. i thought it might be a power problem but when i do the hard restart the same thing happens, comes on then shuts off, so it has to have power. i tried to boot into testmode and follow vegas' directions but it shuts off right before the "copying files" bar finishes loading. im thinking i should just send i

iposthere my f90bt started doing the exact same thing that yours did today. except mine wasnt just running off the battery when it started happening it started right when i started the car. it keeps rebooting over and over again, sometimes i can get it to go to the menu but then it just reboots again, and i cant get it anything to play. ive had it for two weeks and it hasnt done anything like this before. i dont think it could be a hardware problem (like a wire being loose) b/c sometimes i can get it to the menu and sometimes i cant. i hope its not the same thing that happened with jwerkhe

rossggg mines the same as yours. ive had my 90bt installed for about two weeks and the voice command for contacts hasnt worked once. the voice command works perfectly with everything else and it even works when i call the number out loud but for some reason it doesnt work when i say the name of the contact, it must be something wrong with the system.....o and i have the updated version

that seems like alot for just install. is that price including install and parts? im getting an F90bt put in my Yukon on Saturday by tweeter and i was quoted $150 for install, so you might want to look into that.
