i am having a problem. i get get to the tes mode no problems. But then I cannot seem to be able to get to the "Edit" drop down window on the system. It seems as though the screen is too far up at the top and when i use something to try an push the drop down it doesn't work. I have used a toothpick with a very fine point to it and still cannot get the "edit" drop down to work. I also tried to use the keyboard as an input device with a crtl E. But that doesn't work either. Any ideas? Thanks

The ability when in shuffle mode (ipod) the ability to push the artist name to bring up all the songs from that artist or push the album name and get all the songs from that album. I think it would be nice when a song pops up and you think, wow, I would like to hear some more from that artist you push the artist name on the screen and it pulls it up. Same thing on the album. The ability to have my helio oceans phonebook transfer.

everyone, i am still having problems transferring my phone book from my helio ocean. i tried to pull the book from the f series and it asked me to send a vcard? do i just wait at that point and let it run? because when i push the screen to say okay it says no telephone nmber loaded and then that is it. ideas thanks

Hey there, Thanks for the information. Indeed I found my problem. Bad install by me. So I got it workng and everything rocks. The system version says 1.0017 so I am good to go. The update has been installed. Another question is the bluetooth. Is there a update for that I should install? Do I find it on pioneer's website? Thanks

Everyone, I exchanged a f90bt with al-eds. The new unit did not have the blue sticker on the box. It states that is was mfg in May 2008. How do I tell if the upgrade has been done? Also I cannot get the phone to pair. I put it in discovery mode and yet it will not find the unit. I tried it like 3 times. Any ideas. Also. I tried rebooting the system to see what would happen. Nothing new. The system setting/information is grayed out. Also I cannot play video on the machine. It states that I must have the parking brake engaged. I had the bypass done. Double checked the

Hey there. I had the same issue. I also had the problem that it looks like the upgrade was not done to the unit. Do you have the blue dot on the unit and the box it came in? If not that might be the problem as well.

The good guys at Al Eds is going to let me exchange out the unit. Sending it off and will have a hole in my dash for the next couple of days. Bummer

Everyone, Thanks for the tip on the USB. The ipod is working now. But..... I still cannot connect my pantech cell phone. I tryed using discoverymode on the phone. Nope. Any other ideas? Second issue. I cannot see my system information. I cannot see if the update was done or not. Bought an 8 gig sdhc card. Loaded it up on the sd. But the auto update not kicking in. ????? I have a blue dot on the outisde of th box but Pioneer said there should be a blue dot on thunit itself near the serial number. None there. Does that mean I have to do the update? THanks

Everyone, I just had a professional install on my new Al Eds F90BT. A couple of issues have surfaced. 1. The ipod connection doesn't work. I have no IPOD. I have a 5G ipod. I did the AV1 input to ipod. Nothing. Nada. A question is does the VR update before the ipod comes on? I have 9000 plus songs on my 80 gig ipod. Does it have to load the first time before it plays?
