  1. Convert to Apple. It may seem like a small reason to, but you will thank yourself in the long run. I converted about 3 years ago, and I will NEVER go back...
  2. Can I ask a totally off topic dumb question? How do you get that picture under your name on the left?
  3. So if I don't want to do the 1 and 0 route, how else do you update the unit?
  4. I think that I will give it a month or so. When they do release updates, how do you put them on the unit? DVD, SD, osmosis?
  5. I have read the book a bit online. I really want a paper version, and am going to call Pioneer this afternoon.
  6. I am suffering from many of the same problems that others are with the new F900BT: 1) SLOW!!!! boot time 2) Static in GPS voice 3) Delay in touch screen input 4) Alphabetical only in iPod (used the script for adding numbers to track titles as a fix) the thing that is concerning me is from everything I have read, Pioneer is VERY slow at releasing firmware updates for their units. With you people that have more experience that I with these style Pioneer units, should I look at trading this in for something else, or do you think that Pioneer will release updates shortly?
  7. Hello All, One of my primary concerns with the F900BT is using XM. I traded in the Delphi XpressC when I bought the F900BT. I am not liking the XM look and feel at all on the F900BT. Was I just spoiled with the XpressC, or can I do the following with the F900BT and the Pioneer XM tuner: 1) When I look at preset channel list, I want to see song and/or artist, not just the name of the station. I don't care about the name of the statio. 2) Can I save artists into the memory, or just song titles for notification? 3) How do I erase a title that I have stored into memory?
  8. A couple of comments. It was doing this to me on both my 5G iPod and my iPhone. I am going to try the shuffle button fix later. I checked out doug's script, but I think that only works in a playlist, if I read his information right. Would I have to move everything into a playlist, one album at a time, to use this? Thanks, Justin Pioneer AVIC-F900BT
  9. thanks for the reply. How reliable is MSN traffic? There is a traffic button when I am in xm. What is that for?
  10. I am a huge fan of XM Radio, and I returned my XpressC when I bought the F900BT. I am underwhelmed with the XM on the F900. Here are a couple of things that I can't figure, and since the F900 doesn't come with the book, and I don't always have my laptop open to check the .pdf from Pioneer, and don't have the time to print out a 192 page manual, I figured I would ask you all. 1) I have figured out that if I hold down "Memo" while in an XM screen, the unit will save the song that it is on. How do I delete a song that I no longer want saved? How do I save an artist" 2) I have preset
