  1. The links are everywhere. Good, working links. Don't pass off a half-ass attempt to say that you tried _all_ of them. Get your hands dirty and go do some reading. We're not here to spoon feed.
  2. Are you sure you upgraded your satellite receiver sound quality and not the online player sound quality?
  3. I've had a zerg rush of people looking for the MX maps in my inbox, so here is a direct link. see the rest of this thread for instructions. Do not PM me asking how. http://avic411.terron.com/mx/
  4. Did you buy the Pioneer iPod cable? If so, throw that POS in the trash and get the Apple composite iPod cable. Its about $30 on eBay and has fixed nearly everyone elses iPod audio channel drop-out issue.
  5. This will cause a problem. My antenna is beneath the windshield and because so my elevation is always off, presumably because of the delay/interference caused by the laminated glass. When the antenna is placed outside, it is spot-on every time. The other thing that will cause inaccuracies is speed. If you're not traveling fast enough, it can happen where the dead-reckoning in the GPS is off because there isn't enough distance between fixes to quickly pinpoint your location.
  6. No need to install their shitty update, you're done. Keep the update for proof that you're legal should it ever arise. Happy 3.0ing.
  7. I had the same problem as you, the system halted at 3% and kept asking for the update SD card even after rebooting the unit. Totally unusable. Pioneer told me that they would have to charge me to get the unit back to working since the units warranty was out, even though their fucking update broke it. I broke down and installed the illegitimate update and kept the update I purchased as a make-shift way to be legal.
  8. WANT That is really classy, can't wait to get that installed on my 700
  9. Did you use WinRar to extract?
  10. Its an Oregon thing, search the forums and you'll see that this is already reported.
  11. This happened to me before, I had to re-update the bluetooth using Pioneer's update on their webpage. Easy process, just follow the instructions.
  12. Can't say for sure then; how much music is on the player? You do use iTunes to manage it, yes? I know when I used MediMonkey I had a lot of trouble with the VR. You could try turning it off and using the VR to see if it cataloged anything at all.
  13. This may or may not help but I have a Classic 5th Gen with 25 gig of music on it and it takes 15 minutes to sync. How long have you waited? I doubt you've waited "hours" but perhaps you have, just wondering if thats exaggerated or not.
  14. Jeff = winnar Pin 3 is ground Pin 4 is video I had them reversed What I don't understand is why the iPod worked using this cable throwing left/right audio ground to video, instead of to ground.
  15. wait what? which pin does what for AV/2? Pin 4 is video, not ground?
