  2. I spent all freakin day tryin to get this AVH P4000 in. I am having a few problems. I am installing it in an 05 Chevy avalanche. The factory radio is non bose with onstar, I have the PAC SWI PS for the steering wheel controls and the Metra GMOS 1 interface for the onstar and chimes. I got a BOYO rear camera. I got it all in. The onstar seems to work fine. The steering wheel controls seem to work fine. The camera positive is hooked to a switched 12 volt source. I connected the reverse wire from the HU to the one for it on the Metra interface. The problems: 1. When I listen to anything,
  3. Thanks a ton. I feel like an idiot..lol I was looking at that input wrong on the back. It said reverse camera and I was thinking that was for the USB cable hanging out. I see the brown RCA plug in now. I have another question. I am hooking the positive wire of the camera to the fuse panel that has a spot for power when vehicle is on. I am going to hook up that reverse lear wire from the HU to to the reverse signal under the dash. Will the HU automatically switch to the back up camera when the vehicle is in reverse. I am assuming yes. Will I also be able to just hit the souce for the c
  4. I am in the process of installing a new HU. I decided on the Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD. It is going into an 05 Chevy avalanche. I want to keep Onstar and also the steering wheel controls. I also want to have the ability to view dvd's while in motion. I bought all 3 of the modules that will make this work. I see that all 3 of them each require a power wire and a ground wire. Is it possible to connect all 3 modules together and connect them to a single power source in the fuse box and a single ground? Thanks in advance.
  5. I found this forum while trying to find help with my install. I recently bought an 05 Chevy Avalanche. I am attempting to install a Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD. While it is apart, I would like to install a rear view camera. I already purchased a camera. The BOYO units seemed to be recommended. I ordered the BOYO VTL 200. I got it in the mail the other day. I need some help with a few questions. 1. Do I connect the power wire to the fuse panel with a switched source. 2.What is the rear camera reverse wire for out of the back of the radio? 3. The plug of the camera is a standard RCA type plug.
