  1. You can try this, http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/22844-complete-30-install-guide/page__pid__227282__st__840&do=findComment&comment=227282 post #862. I believe it will work on the 700 as well. I had the exact problem and this fixed it.
  2. There are 861 prior posts in this thread, many of which are now outdated. I have an AVIC-F900BT that did the usual boot screen to black brick and was determined to fix it. A HUGE thanks to everyone on this forum for the collection of info to get my unit up and running with an even better interface (2.0 to 3.0 upgrade in the process). I wanted to update the instruction process due to post 1 being a little inaccurate with the new links and software but give most credit to Retell as OP and MyITGuy for providing the new software links and info for slight modifications for the instructions.
  3. I was super excited.... then I realized it was for Western Europe.
  4. Re-synced my videos as well. The video I have is rented from iTunes and I don't know if that would be an issue at all. I've done that many times before where I rent a movie for a trip and watch it on my AVIC using my iPod. I'll try and load some regular videos and try that later. I figured it wouldn't be a problem because "Rented Videos" came up when we connected my friends IPhone.
  5. I just updated my 1st Gen iPod Touch to the new 3.1.2 software and now I can't watch video from my iPod on my F900. Music works fine, video works on the ipod, but the video tab (on my AVIC) doesn't even light up as if there isn't any on my iPod. I've gone through the AVIC settings and my iPod settings without any luck. When I hooked up my friends iPhone 3G, the video tab lit up and played fine. Any ideas?
