  1. remember if they cant just pull it out they will break things alot of the times your 1200 / 1500 / 2000 dollar indash will be cheaper than relplacing ur whole dash , one tip for people with alarms, buy a backup- battery siren the battery is in the siren it dont matter how many cables they cut it will keep going off until the battery wears off usualy about 45 min only way to shut it off after set off is with a key like a safe has works very good almost every alarm that leaves my shop has one
  2. accually sounds like your dvd pickup lens is having troubles reading try runing a dvd lens cleaner in it then try it should run alot better
  3. you dont want just a regular battery backup you accually want the backup batery sirens as soon as it sees the there is no power then it will go off they can cut as many wires as they want damb thing will still go off !
  4. try cleaning your dvd pickup lens with a lens cleaner also try different buning program as some work some dont
  5. dont have any pictures but i install them all the time up by the rearview mirror keeps wind noise down
  6. just burn them on a regular cd-rw as a video cd this works in my n2
  7. if your having trouble with POI search or address search most likely your unit is having trouble reading the disc all the time so either your disc has a bad burn or you might have a problem like i did my dvd pickup lense was extremely dirty i picked up a normal dvd lens cleaner from walmart after it was cleaned it worked great and dont have this problem anymore
  8. you know if i was plummit id feel like a jack a** right now
  9. if the d3 is like the n1-n3 or d1-d2 YOU CAN BACK DATE THE DISC BY GOING INTO THE PIONEER SERVICE MENU YOU DO THIS BY PRESSING RESET BUTTON AND HOLD THEN HOLD EJECT AT SAME TIME THEN RELESE REST AND RELEASE EJECT AFTER THIS IS DO IT WILL SHOW "PRESS REST'' THEN WITH UR TOGGLE PRESS UP-RIGHT-UP-RIGHT-DOWN-RIGHT-DOWN-RIGHT FIND THE OPTION THAT SAYS FOURCE PROGRAM ENTER HERE AND FOURCE THE 1ST AND 3RD OPTION WITH YOUR ORIGINAL DISC AFTER THIS IS COMPLETED GO BACK TO MAIN SERVICE SCREEN AND RESET SAVED OPTIONS I BELIEVE #6 AFTER THIS IS DONE PRESS RESET BUTTON AND LET THE UNIT RESTART THEN YOU
  10. got my n-2 to finally work last night after i figured out that my dvd pickup lens was dirty, ran to wally world and picked up cleaning disk inserted 08 disk and still failed i ended up doing a force load in the pioneer service menu after that was completed restarted and works great (so far)
  11. calm down youll get ur fix buddy! Ha! CNDV 80MT = The new Crack for the gear-heads regards Marc pretty much!
  12. these headunits are designed to do so its to help keep them from doing damage do to overheating its just a thermal shutdown and will turn on when cool enough to do so
  13. navigation and gps antenna have to be working should automatically set but in the case it doesnt enter nav menu go to settings and you will see change time
  14. your doing it correctly but sometimes on my n2 i have to put the disc in shut off car and turn it back on then it will load correctly (only really have this problem with burnt discs)
  15. garrettoomey is right but in the case you bought them as sepperate componets then you would run the tweeters in parallel with the mids but you might want to add a cap on there
