  1. Guys, Thank you for putting together this tutorial. I thought my unit was toasted but its now recovered thanks to you. Bonus on top of that, I didn't even know that version 3.0 of the firmware had been released.
  2. Hi guys, I know its been a while but I have had my unit for 4-5 year and its finally gone dark on me. Do you know where I could still find these ? I downloaded the 2.08 firmware from pioneer and I am looking at following these instructions http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/24113-f900bt-blank-screen-fix-with-clear-instructions/ Thanks
  3. Okay well just a quick update. While its a bit of a pain, I can send my contact one by one by attempting to pair my phone with the F900 and then going to the phone book transfer. Redoing phone book transfer doesn't seem to erase contacts that are already in there. It does create one contact entry per phone # so if a contact has 3 phone # it creates 3 contact. When I perform voice dialing, it ask me which of the 3 # I want to call so its okay ... Tought i'd let you guys know Simon
  4. Thanks for the input, I tried to import the contact one by one. Here is the issue that I have with that. When I select the transfert phonebook menu and go up to the point where I am supposed to beam the contacts from my phone, the phone doesn't see any device to connect to. I read from a thread somewhere that to fix this, you can go to phone options/connection (on the F900) and try to pair the F900 from the phone. Then the phone see the navi for long enough to send 1 contact. If I could repeat these step for each contact then, while quite a pain, I would pro
  5. Hey p3eps, How did you transfer your contact using the HTC touch ? I am having a problem where only 5 out of 25 contact make it to the pioneer unit. Basically what I am doing is : Hitting the phonbook transfer button on the Navi. Press okay on the couple of following dialog and the it says loading data (or something similar). The it says done but only a portion of my contact make it through. I don't do anything on the phone. I was reading that some people beam every contact individually. Is that how you did yours ? Thanks for your help Simon
  6. Hey thanks for the answer. My phone is CDMA I don't think they use sim card do they ? If so, how can I tell if the contact is stored in the sim card or on the phone ? I cannot see any option when creating/editing a contact that let me choose. The only option I have is between and outlook or a windows live contact when I create it. I think all of mine are created as windows live. I'll double check though Everything with the phone and the unit works perfect though. I can receive and make call and the sound quality on the other end is supposely really good Simon
  7. Hello all, Reading through the forum, it seems like I am not the only one having issue transfering contacts to the unit using my bluetooth cellphone. My problem seems a little different than the other post I have seen so far : When I hit the phonebook transfert botton, a couple menus appear then eventually it says that its loading the phonebook (I don't do anyhting on my cellphone, the pioneer unit seems to handle everything itself) and after 10 sec says its done loading the data. Now it seems to only get 4 or 5 out of the 30 odd contacts that I have on my phone. I hav
