  1. 3. That is for the AvicSync once its available 4. There is. Can't think of the steps off hand. But you can change to car, suv, tank, and flying carpet. Maybe one or two more
  2. I don't think you can remove, but you can move them around and put them in whatever order you want.
  3. The 64g I have was originally for a cell phone. I haven't had any issues as I said but tickerguy says either I'm lucky or a problem waiting to happen. I also want to do a 128g and format it from exfat to fat but its a $$$$ gamble I'm not willing to take just yet. I'd like to know how it works out for you in a few months especially if you do a lot of rewrites to it. I haven't had any problems yet unless my MIXTRAX issue is because of the card. I had my computer analyze my music and tried to fill the card, which took overnight, and only a few albums were transferred even though the MIXTRAX prog
  4. Sandisk Ultra 64GB MicroSDXC Class 10 reformatted to FAT32
  5. All you're going to find above 32 gigs is SDXC - Extra Capacity. SDHC stands for High Capacity and limited to 32gigs. I formatted to fat32 which is what the SDHC are basically formatted to. I haven't had any problems just yet with a couple of re-writes but tickerguy says I could or will. I had an extra card laying around and figured I'd try it. Its a class 10 and they aren't too much $$$. Eventually I'll try the 128gb SDXC but that would be a bigger risk. I have 3500 songs, something like 10 movies and maybe 20-30 music videos to go through before I get bored and feel the need to have more
  6. I have been using a 64 gig sdxc micro card that I formated to fat32. Its full with music, videos, and music. So far no issues.
  7. I use a 64g sd card full with music, videos, and movies and it takes seconds after the first read. First read took a couple of minutes.

I like it also. The thing for me is, it is taking forever for the tracks to get analyzed. So without an analyzed tracks and my music variety, I get some not so nice mixes. I tried to use the computer to first analyze a a bunch of albums which was great. But I wanted more music so I let MIXTRAX analyze my entire collection. This took almost 4 days to do (over 200 gigs). Once this was done, I tried to move the albums I wanted to the SD card which took over night to do (64gig sd card), only a few made it onto the card even though the MIXTRAX program listed the card as full. I decided not to try t
  10. I waited a few years before I upgraded. I kept telling myself to wait til the next years model thinking I'd regret it. I'm glad I waited. Although the Bluetooth / Ipod thing bugs me, everything else so far makes up for it. In fact, I use a SD card for my non-streaming music. Without having the other models you mentioned, this model is a great purchase.
  11. You can have the system do a slide show. Page 102 of the manual.
  12. Thats what I figured. I hear that its a subscription. Have you heard how much it will cost?
  13. On the right of the audio source line at the bottom of the 8000 navigation screen there is a car with an arrow that points up and one that points down. One press turns it green another seems to turn it off. Not sure what this is for. GPS? Sync? Can't find where this is discussed in the manual. Anyone know?
