  1. I agree, not the choice I would make for myself. I have found that I don't need to look at the TMC events very often which is why I put the link in the Quick menu in the first place. I will have new TMC code ready soon which includes, among other features, event based voice warnings and visual references. The Voice warnings announce "TMC type" "Ahead" Ie "accident ahead", "blocked road ahead" ect. The stock code will only announce "Traffic Jam Ahead" even if it it something like an accident. The Visual references allow you to click on the TMC event on the map screen and it will s
  2. Last night I updated my system to 3.0 EU model. Got to say it is an overall improvement. One thing I was really was hoping was an improved TMC function! In Holland the TMC is very good. One thing I really don’t understand is how you can see your traffic on you planned route. Off course when you go to the TMC screen the first notifications are the one on you route but only when you know your route you know which one to look at. Other word we need a separated list of the notification that are important for you route. I had an 8.3 version working trough Leetlancher and this version showed me t
  3. Hey thanks for your Update, I could not find the TMC button in the destination menu? Any thing i should check. I downlaoded the latest Data.Zip (15/6) thnx
  4. funny to see that the logo print of the X900BT still says F900BT...
  5. I hope it will use 8.3 IGO when it comes out. The TMC function we use in europe is horrible. You cannot see what traffic is on your route so you can choose re guidense or not. All you can see is teh entire list and the ones that are on you route are in the top position. only knowing your route you know wich traffic jams are ahead on you route. If you not know with your destination you have no glue if you have trafic jams. In 8.3 you will see all that information on your screen.
  6. Does anybody know how to see your TMC infromation on your route. I can see all of the information but i would like to see when navigating what situations are on my route.
  7. OK found some solutions. 1: TMC signal works for the european model. Changed this is in sys.txt [device] type="PIONEER746EW" [interface] skin="ui_pioneer" default_day_color="COLORSCHEME~Pioneer Red Day" default_night_color="COLORSCHEME~Pioneer Red Night" tmc_events_icon_set="$tmc.spr" small_tmc_events_icon_set="$smalltmc.spr" show_kml_type=0 maxzoom2d=6000000 SYS.TXT
  8. Its is a nice Data.Zip but i gave two questions 1: There is no TMC infromation displayed anymore. I changed the $tmc2.sp to $tmc.sp but still no go. anybody an idea? I have a eu 90BT model. 2: I really like the 3d with sky look but when i navigate is still see only streets.. is there a way to lock the view? let me know
  9. Wondering when this update will be available for the european users! If there is any news post it in this toppic
  10. Yesterday i upgraded from 19 to 20. All my EQ setup was still there
  11. I used XiliXoft converter to tranfer my dvd to AvI and all is working fine now. I used the 720x480 resolution it looks crystal sharp and the sound is pretty good. I can play them from the DVD and they are stored in several different folders
  12. Still some DIVX (AVI) files do not play. If i put it on a SD card it works but from de DVD it says Unreadeble file? I tried encoding them with several programs but stil nothing from my DVD (900BT)
  13. This all looks very good. Ik hope the europe models have the same file structure so we can use this too. Hope there will be a data (zip) file available from you so we can update this all in a quick en simple way. keep up the good work!!
