  1. As long as this update isn't much different than the past editions, and I doubt it is, there won't be an issue updating from 70 to 90. Download and update
  2. Easiest update I've had so far. (80MT was a goddamn nightmare) Thanks to SWDW and others. Burned without issue on first copy and updated my D1 without issue. Haven't really noticed anything new yet, still doesn't have some of the new restaurants around here. Can't believe they charge so much for these updates, guess I can't complain... Thanks again to everyone. See you next year!

  4. Looks like I chose the right day to check up on my friends at AVIC411.... Can anyone confirm if this 90 .iso has the EU050APL.PRG file needed to update the D1's out there?
  5. Hhahahahahhahaha...November... I'll sell you the first copy
  6. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAH... You're kidding, right?
  7. Look at the .iso you have and see if this file is there: EU050APL.PRG If it's not there, then you have the N5 iso and it will not work in your D1
  8. It always starts in California, drive around or just wait for the satellite to pick up and the map will relocate to your location.
  9. Depending on where you got your iso, you may have the wrong file to use with the D1. The most common CNDV80MT file out there is the one bundled with the N5. It came out before the official release and works fine with a D3, but doesn't have the proper files for the D1. From what you're saying, it sounds like you have that iso. I ruined a handful of perfectly good DL DVD's as well. There's no special trick to burning the disk, you just need the correct file.
  10. Plummit - DL Disks, shipping and time ain't free. A little bit of know-how can save you 15 bucks, but sounds like there's a lot out there who either don't know how, or don't have the means to make their own back ups.
  11. Small Update: The disk that I burned with IMGburn updated just fine, but wouldn't load routes and had glitches when tracking my position across the map. Just re-burned using MagicISO and things seem to be working much better. Probably just a bad burn on the first disk, but if anyone else is having issues, it's not the original ISO that's the problem.
  12. First off, I want to thank jlong1987 and rotun for helping everyone in the forum! I was able to download the West ISO. Used IMGburn to create a disk at 1x using Memorex DVD+R DL. Inserted the disk into my D1 and it went to the update screen almost immediately. Watched the status bar fill to completion. D1 restarted on its own. Booted up to Pioneer splash screen, but wouldn't load the map. Reset the D1 manually by pushing the small reset button. System restarted, and after a few moments of loading *presto*, the map screen came up and has new streets around me. Thanks again to
  13. Real nice DIY. We need more of this out here on the forum.
  14. jlong1987 & Rotun for president!!!! Awesome work you guys, thanks for helping us all out. I'll post tonight with burn results. Thanks again!
