No the screen is not moving. It was damaged a bit but I fixed it back to proper function . You ever see the normal startup function? I am just wondering if it is normally silent or if the CD or screen makes any start up sounds. Thanks!

Hi I just got a Z140bh used. Whenever it starts up it makes a noise for about 5 seconds like the CD mechanism is moving around inside the unit. There is no CD inside of it though. (The unit does play CD's no problem) I am wondering if that noise is normal or if there is something wrong. I had a X930BT which is about 90% the same as this unit, but it never had any noise like this. Please let me know, thanks!

Can anybody tell me what has changed between the 7100 and 7200? Pioneers website is practically no changes exception the loss of aha and mirror link. Why would anybody pay more for a unit with less features.

Just upgraded my 930bt to the 2015 maps/features. No complaints so far. Rear camera now has adjustable guidelines, some more colors added to the maps when you zoom out, some other small changes.

So I either want the 7100NEX or the 8100NEX. But I am not sure if the 8100 is worth the extra $ I mean all it has is the better touch screen, no better color or resolution... So is it worth the extra cash, are you happy with your 7100 or 8100?

I am thinking of upgrading my x930 to the AVIC-Z150BH. Anyone know f the wiring harnesses are direct plug and play? I really do not want to redo the wiring too much. Adding or changing a couple wires would be OK but I dont want to rewire the whole set up. Thanks for any advise!

From the install manual it looks like there is a one time passcode for the nav upgrades? Looks like pioneer finally tried to do something about map sharing that was happening. I dont care about the maps but I do care about the android capability. It sucks they make us 930 owners pay $120 for something that should have essinentally been a free upgrade and is available in the X940

Is there a better microphone available for the x series? The one that comes with it is terrible. I have Tried different locations and everyone still says they can not hear me. The car is not even loud it is a 2007 civic sedan.

Just an update to my post. After I got the randomly recurring shutdowns, my unit developed another major problem. I was driving to work one day and the map screen completely scrambled, the map appeared with hundreds of random intersecting streets drawn over it. I was worried so I reset it immediately, after that I have not had a random shutdown or reset. I looked back through this forum and I found 4 or 5 similar stories. All were using burned upgrade disks. So I believe it is being caused by the disks not the unit itself. Although it could be caused by the unit having a decreased cap

I have been having a problem with my d3 lately. Occasionally while driving the screen will go black (music will continue to play) The unit will reboot the nav system after about 5 seconds of the black screen Once it has re boot I will have lost my custom boot backgrounds and other custom backgrounds. Anyone ever deal with this issue or have any ideas what it could be?
