  1. Well, being Opensource platform designed for Smartphones its use's will be limitless. Pretty much anything is possible... Use android with an ability to plug a USB Modem in for Mobile Broadband so your always connected and the world is your limit
  2. Anyone considered it? http://code.google.com/android/download_list.html Could we be the first?
  3. Nice! let us know how you get on... we need some sort of a browser too from what i understand. Ideally we need the guy who made the launcher on board with this because i get the feeling its going to need some coding from a professional
  4. I wonder if we could get one of the HSDPA USB Dongle's from a Mobile Network Operator to work with Windows CE? Perhaps something like this would help? http://www.bsquare.com/products/drivers ... bmodem.asp
  5. it would appear not. im really annoyed that we cant have it, no matter how bad it may be.
  6. I saw the other thread which detailed that the Vehicle Dynamics obviously isnt available, however since this unit runs Windows CE surely we can get an OBD II setup with some third party software? My thought process is along the lines of using the Launcher, an OBDII connector via the USB ( http://www.autologicco.com/pocketline/pocketobdpro.shtm Let me know your thoughts, it would be cool to be able to view OBDII info on this unit. Ant
  7. Im still in dude, just time constraints arent helping me at the mo
  8. nice one leetcoder. Any chance you have ARM decompiler skills? because if you do, then you will be a legend on this forum and modifying this device!
  9. Bump - any ideas? i would love to get this working... i feel cheated in a way because i thought it could do it as standard!
  10. CarPuter's are cool. But we already have AVIC's! This should be seriously looked into, as im sure it must be possible (certainly from a Win CE point of view) How we get the Pioneer software to then interact with an Internet Browser is a whole other question though. Technically the Unit should be capable.
  11. Just replied to the PM's. I meant that i have a Image.Res that you can upload into your emulator and it will show which file does what by the numbers contained on them. If i can get my 5MB limit increased i'll post it so you can see.
  12. This one is actually numbered though, so basically you run it on the device... look for the image you want to edit and it will have a number on it... take that number and find the file in your image.res and then you can modify what it looks like
  13. Swt! definately experiment. Once u get the hang of PS its a nice program, pretty annoying up until that point though! The background is the same for all the menus, and its 746_32K_MN-000_24b.bmp The buttons use multiple files to drive their images, however if you run the image.res below it will show you which file is which. Edit: I cant upload because i have 5MB limit which i have apparently hit (obviously with my other files)
  14. wow, this thread got busy. Try to keep it on topic if we can guys please. How about this for an idea of the Mazda theme? I have modified my Vista Theme to show what i mean... I know what all the BMP files do, so i can pretty much modify every cosmetic part of the system.. tell me how u want it to look and i will create it. Obviously functionality remains as standard.
