Okay, i have a dilemma and need some guidance or suggestions pls. My cousin has a x2800BS and i have an 8500BHS. All my videos are in DIVX format and play well in mine. Unfortunately after trial and error and some reading, i discovered the 2800BS does NOT play divx So i decided to use NERO RECODE to change it to MP4. The codec used would be AVC/H.264, encoding fast (1 pass) it all came out as MP4. But when plugged in to his vehicle, it did not play. When plugged into the XBOX ONE, it plays well.. Here is the setting for one of the videos.. Shouldn't it be able to be played? Thanks...

So im thinking to myself, how hard can it really be to play song in mp4 format, i mean really. Play songs dloaded from you-tube.! i mean isnt there an addon by now? A hack? Something rather than me having to go buy 60- 80 bux worth of extra wires so i can play stuff from my phone. Id rather my usb 3.0 64 gb that works like a charm! So my question to anyone who is reading this, has anyone managed to get mp4 to play via disc, usb, sd to the x8500bhs? Or do i have to continue converting each video via DIVX to .divx so i can watch it.??!!! Bleh!

well I'm feeling sowwy for you.. and this is why I don't have a dbl din yet. I've always wanted one since Z1.. but nah.. I want to keep my stuff. no matter if you have a garage or not.. they are other places; stores, movies, families house, outta town, a lot of places. I had the JVC nx7000 on my other car and I loved it... It probably wasn't as fast as the Z3.. it sometimes lagged a lil. and also I did not like the audio settings options on there. Ok hello ppl.. I'm new to this site.. I was actually looking for something else.. But I guess ill go ahead and share my experience. NX7000 is better than any other pioneer I've seen. PERIOD. Its installed in my 96 Acura 3.5TL. Its also wired to four other screens in da car.. Operates perfectly.. Next as for time in starting up... Its tricky. With the radio station.. It plays immediately. Before u OK the warning.. Same with CD. With DVD... Its takes approx. 5 sec before u hear sound and about another 3-5 to push the OK button. Then u start watching DVD. I also have a 4 gig usb drive in ther
