  1. I have this problem too. I used a DVD-R. Anyone got a DVD disc to work?
  2. what's the general way to determine this information for any vehicle anyway, consult its technical manual which doesn't usually come with the car?
  3. is it possible, and what format does the D3 take?
  4. The wire I'm talking about is listed in the installation manual, pg 12. The diagram shows a wire tap on one end, a fuse resistor, and a female connector on the other end. I've seen pictures of this wire with these components, but mine is missing the connector.
  5. Does anyone know what type of connector is used for the end of the extension lead for the reverse signal, ie. the 5m wire with a fuse resistor? My wire is missing that connector. It looks like a female connector, but what type & size is it? Right now I just tied the bare wires to the male connector which works too.
  6. I just wired these up today but my car is a Toyota Yaris. In my car the wires are located in the fuse box under the dash board on the driver's side, but your car may be different. Actually only my reverse signal works. I'm still getting a 0 reading for the speed sensor so I'm working on that.
  7. Stupid noob question: does 'grounding the parking and mute wires' mean that you solder (or use a wire tap) a ground wire somewhere along the parking brake wire and mute wire? Do you use a third wire to make the connection between the existing ground and the brake/mute wire?
  8. Anyone has a Toyota? I'm trying to install a D3 into a 2008 Toyota Yaris hatchback. From some reading I believe the parts I need are: Metra 70-1761 for wiring Metra 95-8202 for mounting. Metra's site also lists 72-8104 for speaker harness, but others haven't mentioned that I need this. Does 70-1761 hook up to the speakers too?
