I installed the z1 update and afterwards none of the hard keys at the bottom of the screen work. They have power because the keys are lit up but none of them function. No one seems to have experienced this problem. It could have been a coincidence but it was right after the update. Any ideas, I hate to have to pull and send it to pioneer.

My Z1 without update and using two-wire bypass w/ iPhone connected directly to the iPod connect cable charges fully and will play songs and receive calls and take commands from the Z1. I have tried to connect iPhone to a home doc using the iPod connect to the home dock and it will recognize the iPhone but will not list songs or take cmds from the Z1 without the home dock works fine.

I'm still running the Z1 stuff maybe its the update

Mine charges fully while conected.

The New iPhone update allows you to use phone while in iPod mode check it out.

I have my z1 installed but the sirius tuner and xm tuner both seem to require their own antenna's I was thinking that I read somewhere that the tuners could pull off one antenna, I have not found this to be true. Could it be due to the fact I do not have the XM trafic tuner. Have I missed something in my setup?

You are correct the Bypass is not the problem. I have tested the system with a Razr and it works as well as everyone elses. It is a shame that the echo problem is not resolved.

Hello, I just installed my z-1 (Sept 06) in a 07 avalanche using the wire bypass I have Ipod, xm, Sirius and bluetooth, everything works fine except I cant dial out with the HU unit. I can use the phone to dial and the bluetooth will pickup the call but if I try to dial from the address book or any of the poi nav screens it just jumps to the map. I am using a Treo 650 cingular. Any ideas or is this normal? And by the way I could not have installed this monster myself without all the information on the site thanks to all of you.

I have a 2007 avalanche w/out XM when I install my Z-1 next week I was wondering if I can use the factory antenna for the xm moduel or do I have to use the pioneer one. I have the combo shark antenna on the vehicle.
