Hello all. Installed a brand new x710bt with hard bypass on my friends F150 this weekend and everything works great, except the parking brake light and abs light are in the constant on position at all times. I tried everything, but dont have any idea what i need to do to fix it. I believe the bypass is installed correctly as the head unit works perfectly. This is my second install in identical ford trucks and did not have this problem on the first one. Any ideas? Appreciate any help at all!

no big deal, just like any other install you may have performed. There is a cut out for the VSS wire under the steering column towards the left side of the driver side. All you have to do is connect to it. I ran the gps wire out the back an up by the sensor for the auto lights...pretty clean looking one of the folks on here did a nice write up on an installation in a 250. pretty simple overall, just take your time. let me know if you have any specific questions..

let the palm products (centro, treo, etc) actually be able to transfer contacts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok...figured it would run across the palm products. I wonder if there is a way to forcefeed from an SD card....

so far I have only been able to get my 4 quick dial contacts to transfer. Has anyone been able to get the entire contact list to transfer on the f90bt? Thanks to anyone for the help.

did the same...got mine delivered for 489. after needed install gear cost me about 550 installed in my 08 f350. great deal. Would never have gotten the f90bt without the live discount. good luck to anyone else who does the deal!!

just put an avic-f90bt in my 08 350. Non issue. took a little finagling to get all the wires set, but installation was painless.

can anyone put the SUPERDUTY emblem on on a few of the backgrounds? i really like the ford on the gray brushed aluminum looking one, is there any chance of putting the superduty emblem on that some one? i am photo shop retarded!! Thanks for the help!!

hello all, just received avic-f90bt and started installation. Have a couple of questions: 1. I purchased a wiring harness, install kit, and antenna adapter from Circuit City, but i am concerned about my sub woofer. Is there another adapter i need for proper function of my factory sub? 2. Has anyone seen the new factory ford reverse camera (in rear view mirror) get hacked to work with any reverse camera in an avic series? just curious if there was a how to or anything. 3. Any how tos for the installation of any avic in an 08 250/350? Thanks in advance for all the help.
