I was installing the ipod and bluetooth interface and I disconnected the power harness to get easier acess, but as soon as everything was plugged in and I power on. Nothing. So I did a search and people have had the same problem, so I connected the yellow battery and red ACC lines to my car battery along with the black ground wire to the ground terminal and it powers on. I've installed the pioneer avic z2, and so far it's been nothing but headaches, I have it in so far and it looks great and works great. However, trying to get the PAC SWI-PS interface to work with my existing steering wheel controls and I need to locate, according to the PAC website, a white/red/yellow dots wire to tap into. I've tapped into Z2's 12v power source, and I grounded the black wire to a screw against a metal/grounded surface. But the yellow wire has to be connected to the wire mentioned above and I've already tried the one next to the steering wheel, the area right above the clutc

Hello everyone. I've bought a z2 and going to upgrade my 2000 bmw 528i, just wondering exactly what other parts i need. Do I need an antenna adapter? Should I get the HD radio antenna or do I not need it at all? Do I need a wiring harness? If so which one? I also bought a backup camera and a face plate bezel, do I need a sleeve/cage/iso brackets? I also purchased the PAC-SWI-PS ONLY, is there anything else I need for it? I plan on upgrading the amps/tweeters/speakers/subs in the future, do I need anything else, like aux input adapters?
