  1. i cannot see this/any page of crutchfield.com Access Denied You don't have permission to access ......... any idea? I can go right to the page . . . something must be blocking it on your system or ISP.
  2. So you would recommend this? I was wanting to be able to use one of the buttons to get to the voice recognition prompt . . . can you do that with this one? I guess you can't really decide or program what buttons control what function right?
  3. yeah, now that's cool. . . I wonder if there are others out there. thanks
  4. Well that stinks! Why the heck did they do that? Guess there's no sense in getting a wired remote huh? Thanks 4 reply
  5. Does anyone know if the CD-SR100 http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130CDSR100 ... or+Pioneer is compatible with the AVIC-F90BT? The remote indicates that the radio name must have a 'P' in the name to be compatible . . . If not, is there another one that is? Thanks.
  6. you better not post again till you tell me how much for and when to expect my black knob jerk Am I missing something???? Why are you calling me a jerk? I don't think so . . . I think we might be seeing some classic knob size and feel jealousy here. He knows he want's a larger knob and a better feel to it, but is not able to have one. Maybe it's just a call for help.
  7. Tom: Received the knob last week some time and haven't had time to respond. The knob is PERFECT! It fit perfectly and really looks professional. You did a really great job on it. Thank you for a great product at a great price. BTW, with the number of people wanting to get one of these for their units, I knew that you would be raising the price and I don't blame you at all. I would have done the same. I don't know how long exactly that it takes for you to make one of these but even at $22 it is a reasonably good deal still. Good luck with your new business javascript:em
  8. Thomas, start making mine! A couple of questions . . . Is manipulating the knob fully functional with this on it? How tight is the new knob? Will it fall off when moving the knob up/down/left/right? Does it affect the illumination of the knob at all? Thanks for offering to make these. It'll be a great addition.
  9. Cool! I'm going to run out to my fully equipped machine shop and whip one up real quick. . . not! You may have a market for these little guys. . . as there are most likely very few members here that have access to the equipment and or skill to create one of these.
  10. The stainless looks great! I'd like to have that but add a knurled rubber inset into the knob so that you could grip it well. . . How in the world did you make the knob? Or is it from another piece of equipment?
  11. Just found these at Walmart. I like this one a little bit better because the rubber is a little bit softer. The key to the size is using a standard hose or faucet washer. It was a lot easier to put on the knob as well.
  12. Oh SHIT!! :) I am rolling over flat on my ass laughing!! That is hilarious! You might just be jealous if my knob is bigger!!
  13. These look REALLY close to what I used! http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=p ... lpage=none I just wish they would state the size in the description. ** I re-measured the washer that I used tonight and found that in it's non-stretched form and a different ruler, the measurements are: OD: 2.1 centimeters ID: 1.5 centimeters and it is about .3 centimeters thick (on edge) and about .4 centimeters wide from the inner to the outer ring. Which is very close to the width of the volume knob on the edge. Anything thicker would probably inhibit the free movement of the k
