tried it. several times. resetting it. NOTHING. i'm thinking about just ordering the brand new cndv-80mt disc from pioneer the legit way to see if it fixes this. Everything else works perfectly. So i'm thinking something happened to the boot leg copy i got over the months. since the CD is always running in the system.

anybody !??!

i'm also using the burned copy of the cndv-70mt disc that i got off EBAY like over 8 months ago. been working fine until today...

I own the avic-88dvd navi add on unit and today my unit decides to stop working on me. The unit does not allow me to search any type of "address search, POI, telephone search and etc. Basically the symptoms of not having your parking brake pulled. the thing is, i have the parking brake wire grounded out so it shouldn't be a problem. I've also been running it htis way for over 2 years now without any problems. Now, i called pioneer and they said i need to send it in to get this fixed for 200 bucks, i just want to make sure it's not a simple fix before i send it in. PLEASE HELP!!!!
