Not to much action on this site?

Ok, First off I'm new to this website and tried searching and no luck. I bought a Pioneer AVH4000 DVD head unit and I'm having a problems with my Ipod not playing music. The head unit shows the music playing and controlling the ipod but no music. I've tried updating the Ipod no luck tried connecting and unconnecting the Ipod adapter still no luck. I've also tried messing with the audio controlls. If anyone has some positive info that would help that would be great.
