Maybe you can help me. I have z120 with the latest map update, was trying the nag screen mod, deleted the PRG .FLG on accident then trying to fix it deleted both navi.exe in PRG0 and PRG1. I am trying to put navi.exe back in both PRG0 and PRG1, but I can't paste, what am I doing wrong? I downloaded the map update again along with shortfuse hack for the update then reinsert map update and nothing. I was hoping that would just replace the files. So now I went into Path: USER\ PRG0 \ Apl \ selected and deleted everything. Went back to Path: SD \ UPDATE \ USER \ PRG \ APL \ selected and copie

Well Ron I finally got around to disconnecting the battery today like you said to do months ago. . . guess what. . . .ipod function is back and works great again. The only reason I had time to do that was to replace my starter. Ha, Thanx for the excellent advice.

I never used app mode either. The selection is either wired or Bluetooth no off. I am going to disconnect the battery now since I can't find the radio fuse on the Hummer. Just pulled the radio fuse, it was powerless, reinstalled fuse and no change. The ipod function goes into app mode. I'm not 100% sure but if I remember right App mode was always greyed out before I did the update.

I was in a hurry. Ipod nano connected with the usb/av cable. In the first pic only the settings and eq buttons work.

RonS, I used the "Easy" method, everything went smooth. But now Ipod wont work. The menu changed, I switch the CARDINFO with Z110Z120X920CARDINFO I have the 120BT. What did I do wrong? I'm going outside right now. It worked fine, cable is good. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanx

Hello, I have Pioneer_T1000-25818.zip but can't find the proper password. And it isn't "PASSWORDPASSWORD" . Could I please have the right one? Thank you. Hmm . . . And I was just thinking yesterday I should list my 120BT on CL and buy the NEX 8000. Maybe I'll wait a little bit longer. I bought a new cell LGv20 and when I connect it to the unit over BT the music plays through the phone but I can still go to the next song using the unit. BT firmware says 3.32. If I unpair the phone then register it again it works like it should. It's a pain in my ace. That is the reason I was checkin out avic411, to see if the 120BT was getting any more map/bt updates.

Thanx. I believe the culprit, from what I have been reading, is/was a backed up copy of 80MT for the N and D units from what I've read. I bet Pioneer got ticked off with people downloading their maps for free and had a program disable the units mentioned. Not to destroy but a sort of fight fire with more fire, if you won't buy the updates, then you will pay us to reset your unit type deal. I have no problem backing up my own bought copies, but I will admit I have a . . . well lets just say I burned a copy of the East 80MT. But I don't think I ever used it. Now the person I sold the unit too m

Yea I know. But this isn't the first time this problem came up. I was just reading some good info in the D3 section. I don't really need this unit, it's just a good unit and don't want to see it goto waste. This forum has helped me with the bypass back when I got it (N2), make my F700BT fast and cool, 2 units in between that and helped me turn my 110 into a 120BT, now have a Caddy with their crappy Nav system. I was just hoping this sparked someones memory and they can be like " OH Yea I remember, that was an easy Fix! I'll tell Shane and make his day happy again!" LOL

Ok, so I got my old N2 back from a friend because he broke it! I know about the service menu and program force write. What I don't know is why the GPS refuses to accept it. I have an N2 with N1 brain, but I used it that way since I bought it from a friend years ago, and I've used backed up map discs. There has to be a way I can fix this without sending it somewhere (guy on eBay). When I try to format the SDRAM I get "NG [ Error code = 25( 19h ) ] and GPS Test "DRAGON CONNECT NG ! !" I bought an ipodtouch from ebay, used, it broke within a week. I called Apple, they wanted the S/N and good news 1 month left on warrenty. They sent me a new one.

When did this unit come out? I just seen it on Pioneers site 5 minutes ago. Dinner, WhhaAAT? Let's hear the info, this unit seems badA$$. Grrr got my 120BT on ebay right now because my stupid STS I can't really change that nav unit without losing a ton of cool things or spending undreds of dollars. Im seriously thinking about selling it for that reason. . . nah maybe in another week.

Okay, thnx for the help. But after burning the map disc, the navigation sux and is set up wierd, no ipod, no back up cam, and way to exspensive to get all that. So I might just install my Pioneer in the Caddy. The only cool thing about the factory nav system is the 8" screen and how it fits and looks in the dash.

Looks like I don't have too many options without spending a couple of hundred bux. I would like reverse cam and ipod back. Maybe I should just keep my AVIC.

Reading forum after forum it seems it isn't really as simple as cut and ground a wire, might have to do with programming. I hope someone here can help me out. I didn't think a factory unit (Bose btw) would be so hard to hack.

Hello all, Well selling my Pioneer AVIC Z120BT, bought a 2005 Cadillac STS and help. I can't find a way to bypass GM's Navi system and watch movies or mess with Navi system while driving. I know we are all Pioneer here, but I know there's also smart S.O.B.s here who may be willing to help me out. If no one is interested I will keep searching. I'll check back soon, and thanks for any ideas.

Hmm, well if it is only going up to 8%, maybe unzip it again as well as quick format the card. What unit are you updating, Z110BT untouched, Z110BT updated to the Z120BT? After I downloaded oh wait, did you download the patched file that you need to switch in SD 1 first? There are 2 files you need to drop in 2 spots after or before you move the files to the card. Those files are patched. I bet that's your problem. After I DLed and switched everythin I was going to repack it all with a write up on how to. Girlfriend was complainin though so I didn't.
