1. BorisM, Thank you very much for this that it is really more than you says. Looking of the content of the zip attached, it seems to me (sorry, on this moment I have no AVIC -stolen- to check it) that now it is possible to run integrately the commercial iGO8.3 with all the Pioneer suite without need to use leetlauncher and the content includes the gurjon skin ready to work. If I understand well, we can put any other iGO skins (see http://www.igo-8.com) on the ....\content\skin folder and select it to work. For example we can use also the skin created by the forum user specter or any other
2. Hi Guys! I am sharing your experiences for a couple of months!. I have used many years PDAs/PNAs to navigate on my travels having quite experience as PDA navigation programs user. But after years you want more and not need to install/remove your PDA each time you get the car and AVIC F-900BT seems to me the solution. With my background as long time PDA user I have perform a full review of F-900BT on a PDAs/Gadget spanish web http://www.pcdemano.com. The review is in spanish but you can use google as translator with not very bad result. Therefore I leave here link to this analysis
3. F-310 and F9110 are also available, see viewtopic.php?f=32&t=22155&p=167338#p167328
4. I'll bet that new firmware with updated maps and improved features (solved some known 2.0 issues). We have not to discard some HW changes in the Windows CE module.
5. Anyone can comment what suggest the following picture taken from F310BT? And also this for F910BT?
6. Un Europe Pioneer has already unveiled the new F910BT, F-710BT and F-310BT (that should be equivalent to X910BT, X710BT and U310BT for USA) appart of the adapted for VW/Skoda/Seat F9110BT. http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/products/25/1 ... index.html http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/products/25/1 ... index.html http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/products/25/1 ... index.html http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/products/25/1 ... index.html
7. Post updated with images (F310 or U310 is originally downloaded from pioneer EU; the other two are made by cut and paste but sure will be quite the same)!! On the link below it is shown the follow image: AVICF310BT_detached.jpg - Center: X910BT/F910BT ?? (almost -if not the same- HW than F900BT but (see menu and map buttons like F-series) with new firmware and maps AVIC_Z1110BT_large.JPG
8. On the link below it is shown the follow image: AVICF310BT_detached.jpg - Center: X910BT/F910BT ?? (almost -if not the same- HW than F900BT but (see menu and map buttons like F-series) with new firmware and maps AVIC_Z1110BT_large.JPG
9. If you check the figure attached taken from the F9110BT press report you can conclude that this new unit uses different map (as it is capable to display sign post that is a new function of igo8.3.2). Therefore if we assume that all the F-Series has to work with the same software, it has to exist a firmware update and the change is so huge to call it 3.0XX. Obviously it there are claims about other aspects I hope that this aspects will be also dealed. Nevertheless I have the feeling that Pioneer is more responsive if you issue
10. Dear Stanislavovich, Thank you for joining us (thanks also for BorisM to contact him). Without discarding the very valuable work of other modders, your mod give me a clear step ahead in visibility due to the greater font size of the presented data as well as the now properly organized data presentation that help us (as drivers) to understand the information available as first shoot. I appreciate also that you have implemented new nice functionalities like multiroute. On the other hand, and in order to take advantage of previous iGO8 800x480 skin designs, I recommend you to visit some p
11. The 5.11 only for 8.3.2 (any later than 5.0 according to gurjon web) This work perfect for me on my iPAQ and first I am trying to solve the issue to substitute ezrider.exe by iGO8.3.2 and later I will continue investigating about new versions.
12. Yes, Gurjon Skin. I am running version 5.11 but it continue improving. Visit http://www.gurjon.com
13. I want to show you a procedure that worked in an iPAQ310 that can be also valid on AVIC F-Series iPAQ 310 is a 4.3" Personal Navigation Assistance which comes also with a iGO8.0 customised version. Its screen resolution is also 800x480 and its CPU is quite the same than the AVIC ones. It sounds to me that NavNgo first worked on the development of iPAQ software and later on AVIC as some structure on the navigation side is maintained. Of course AVIC is a more serious equipment but what worked for the iPAQ can also work for AVIC or at least point the direction to search. Please find s
14. The igo8.3.2 runs on flash without any problem. I.e. you can delete the complete ezrider.exe, maps, etc and copy igo on the same place renaming igo.exe to ezrider.exe and it works. What do not work is that there is a watchdog program that expect some return signal from ezrider.exe that obviously do not send any commercial igo. Due to this the box stating that the program is loading do not dissapear and after some time (not too much) the watchdog program command the unit to reset. Obviously this feature (the autoreset) is excelent to avoid that any problem (in the unit as it is sold
15. I want to call your attention to the Gurjon Skin as it is really well designed and functional. It has very clear visibility and (what is more important on this forum) allow to call third programs without exiting iG08.3 You can see any from this skin at http://www.gurjon.com dowmload the 800x480 version.
