  1. I found a 3Dcars with 210 models in it at http://www.igo8navigation.com/3dcars_210-t455.0.html;msg3361#msg3361 I don't know if it works, I can't install it at this time as I've no more space left after installing x3.1 and Abbs Chrome mod. Just thought I'd point out the find in case someone wants more car options.
  2. Check out this posting it's where I got mine to repair my F90bt no splash screen issue. But it will change your machine code so if you have the 3.0 update's password your sol according to Pioneer. http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=25465
  3. I didn't see any other version out there so I think so but, I can't say for sure.
  4. I figured out that mine failed at 3% because my flash drive had 46 corrupted files that couldn't be deleted, which in turn was causing some reboots and loss of data. Unfortunately that also somehow corrupted the small SDMLC drive that keeps the NN746UC image. I reloaded the NN746UC image only to find out that changed my machine code making my password invalid. Does anyone know how to change the machine code? Well despite my unit’s issues it is now up and running fully with the X-Series 3.01 software so that was a $99 learning experience.
  5. I didn't think about it but I should have backed up my flash drive with the failed install. Is anyone interested in backing up and sharing their failed legit 3.0 install? I have an idea that might be able to save the failed install. Just an idea. Thank you for your time, Robert
  6. I've finally got my unit working after installing the nn746uc image. I have mine on bench power too. I too can't access system settings or the nav settings. (solved) Needs the wiring harness pluged in. Thank you for your time, Robert
  7. What is the file extension of your pictures you are trying? I believe they need to be .bmp for the unit to see them. And I think the SD card has to be in fat or fat32 format I don't know if these units can read the OSX format. Other wise I've put new pictures on my unit via testmode. I hope that helps. Robert
  8. I have the F90BT, and well I tried to update to 3.0 but like others it got to 3% and failed. After messing with the file system I ended up with a unit that would only go into the service menu. After following this tread I can now get into the service menu and boot to testmode v2.3. I followed the first post in this thread (I think to the letter) now my unit will boot (no splash screen) then sits at a black screen. If I press menu the main menu screen does appear, but the only button that responds is destination, in which I get the disclaimer screen I press OK but it does nothing. Wh
  9. Sorry I should have been a bit clearer. I meant differences in hardware the O/S controls.
  10. Since the f90bt and the f900bt don't have any hardware differences, this backup should work on the f900bt?
  11. I know that you can chose to set the POI as a via point or the go here now and get directions to it, but basically I want to know if the POI is in the direction I'm traveling or do I have to go out of my way to get to it before I chose to go to that POI or if I should chose another.
  12. I did some light searching so flame on if I should have looked harder. I think the search for a POI is missing a feature that would be very helpful while traveling. Since I can't program to save my life this would be a request of a kind soul. So your driving from point A to point B and now need gas. Easy do a search on gas stations along route, and of course find several that are a few miles away and some a ways away but... Are they in the direction you are going or already behind you? I would love it if it would show that you've passed or not but I think a North, South, West, or E
  13. I was going to ask that same question. I was hoping that I could find this answer but the FAQ didn't have this, this might be a good thing to put in the FAQ. Thanks for the information.
