  1. I know this is an old thread but here is my 2 cents anyway. Most all cars have a wire going from the BCM in the dash to the reverse lights at the rear. Most the time it is in the driver kick panel. Any competant installer can find it.
  2. I have the opposite problem. My blackberry curve (which supports ad2p) works fine as a handsfree kit but won't pair as an audio source. Any ideas?
  3. The VSS wire is not the only way the avic knows the vehicle is in motion, it also detects speed thru the gps antenna. You need to do the bypass in order to operate everything while in motion. There are several forums on this site explaining how. The short and sweet of it is: ground the ebrake wire (typically green), then move the mute wire (yellow/black) from it's factory location to the open location between two black wires in same plug, then ground it also. (these wires are on the avic f series, not the car). Now the avic won't care if the car is moving or not. Hope this helps.
