  1. I just found the following update on ebay- Version 4.001 - FIX/UPDATE Pioneer Avic-F900BT http://www.ebay.com/itm/170904472942 Anyone using this? How would this be different from my current maps/layout/version? Is this using TomTom or Tele Atlas? Thanks, Brent
  2. I've had my AVIC 900BT since 2008 and its been a couple years I believe since I've updated the maps. I currently have- (USA) Map Version: 02.000400 Version: 3.020100 I would like to update it again but don't want to pay another $120 to update it- CNSD-300FM http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/Accessories/Map-Upgrades/CNSD-300FM Is there any other options for me? Also, I notice this new update CNSD-300FM has update with TomTom, would this change the maps/gps layout completely since the last update was using Tele Atlas database? Be nice to see something different, o
  3. Is there a volume ratio hack yet? I find my self spinning that Volume Knob way too much! would be much happier with the unit if I could turn up and down the volume faster. Especially since my Head Unit is a little out of reach in my dodge ram. wish thier was also a wireless remote for the unit.
  4. not sure but I know it would be easier moving the wire/pin. Unless you have a spare matching pin.
  5. NOW THAT's FUNNY!!!!!!! Tom please see my last post and hopefully you can see were I'm coming from.
  6. you guys are too funny! I'm installing this new head unit on my wife truck for x-mass would like to have the knob at the same time. when we previously looked at them in the store she said she didn't like it because of the small knob, so this will work out great. Sorry if you think I'm asking to much and welcome to the retail world. Merry Christmas, Brent
  7. I'll send it out tomorrow. Thank You no more same day shipping >To order just email me at thomashohl@comcast.net and I after I get payment I will ship same day good chance I won't get until after x-mas if you wait until tomorrow Thanks, Brent
  8. when will you be sending my knob out? maybe since I'm the first to pay $22 send it out priority mail instead thank, Brent
  9. You wanted your money back... You got it. OK, we get the point you guys want to kill each other!
  10. damn, should of ordered yesterday when it was half price, had to wait for some funds to clear today, robbed just send payment for new asking price $22 a good business practice would be to warn everyone of a price increase, especially one that high, example "there will be a new price for this after Dec 18th = $22" Regards, Brent

    back up

so I should buy a 4gb SDHC card and reader? is that what works best, enough room?
  12. would this work with the F90BT http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130CDSR100 ... el+control
  13. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-mYqwoDTgC3 ... WI-PS.html looks to be an adapter to use your factory steering wheel control. My 06 Dam Ram 1500 QC doesn't have a factory steering wheel control. It's actually what I' looking for, an Aftermarket Steering Wheel Controller I can install on my steering wheel, for AVIC-F90BT? That way I don't have to try and use that small volume knob.
  14. Since my vehicle is not equipped with one. I'm wondering if anyone makes a decent Steering Wheel Controller I can install, for AVIC-F90BT? That way I don't have to try and use that small volume knob either. Greatly Appreciated! PS- glad I found this site, lots of good info! will be busy reading for a while! I had no idea of all the cool stuff you can do with the AVIC-F90BT.
