  1. The problem is most likely related to the fact that you can't use bluetooth streaming while an ipod is plugged in on the 4000. On the 4100 and 4200, this is no longer an issue. I'm assuming that they added another input for audio off the bluetooth module on the 4100 units, and the input on the 4000 is not connected to anything. There might be some success with modifying the internal PCB, but in my opinion, it's far too much risk.
  2. Maybe it'll finally let you stream bluetooth audio without disconnecting iPods.
  3. I haven't figured out how to look too deep into the files yet since I've only had this radio a couple days now, but looking in the logs I see one thing that stands out. under the info.txt, it shows "System uCom:CWW9449- 08.51" for the 8000, and "System uCom:9449- 08.51" Under the 8100, I'm wondering if this has something to do with this operating differently, or it's just a difference in logging/ software versions. Any thoughts?
  4. Got my f700bt in today. Payment for Black smooth knob sent.
