  1. So I've had it back from Pioneer for a while now and it still reboots constantly. I checked every wire in my harness, all are fine. Grounded to two locations now instead of one. STILL REBOOOOTING. ON HOLD NOW WITH PIONEER. (not happy) I just want it to work! If I power cycle the unit it will work for a day before starting to reboot again. Happens every time.
  2. Total time from me sending it to getting it back was 5 business days.
  3. I just got my unit back from Pioneer as well. Their fix was to reload the software. It worked for a day before starting to reset again. I am testing something I noticed. I think it might be the GPS causing it to reset. I'll let you know for sure in another day or two.
  4. That is what they are doing with mine. I sent it in, they are fixing it.
  5. They sent you a new one before you even sent them yours? That doesn't make any sense.
  6. I sent mine to Pioneer yesterday morning. I'm sick of dealing with it. Hopefully they can fix it.
  7. Let us know if you get it working, everyone that ends up getting their unit working again seems to disappear from the forum without letting us know what works!
  8. You can track up in 3d mode, 2d only does north up. You can just tilt 3d until it looks 2d and your all set. Not a huge problem.
  9. Mine is still rebooting. I watched the battery voltage during startup and its fine. The unit usually starts its reboot sequence after the car is all ready running.
  10. What do you consider the hard reset CatchMeIfYouCan631?
  11. Mine started rebooting after the 2.0 update as well, I still do not have a fix for it.
  12. I am having a similar issue with a 2008 Subaru WRX
  13. This may confirm my hunch: http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20748
  14. Update: I was thinking of other ways to try and diagnose this issue. A couple of days a go I turned OFF all inputs. No audio playing at all. The unit has not rebooted since then. This is leading me to think the unit is not getting enough juice to power the speakers (2008 Subaru WRX stock speakers). I am going to try running power directly to the battery instead of through the factory harness. If this doesn't work I guess I'll give up and send it back to Pioneer.
  15. Every time I think I fix it the next day it starts rebooting!
