  2. i am also having the same exact problem...except my system doesnt freeze just the song display in the bottom right hand corner goes away until i get out of the map then back into it. but everything else is the same...the audio muting except for the beeps when you press a button until i restart my car
  3. I got my f90bt installed in the middle of january and i never had any problems with it until this week. When i press the knob so VR will come up, nothing happens, the music stops playing and the info box on the bottom right corner just vanishes. i have to turn off my car then back on again to get the music to come on and to get the info display back i just have to go to the menu then back to the map and its all back to normal but still no music until i turn my car off...no matter how many times i try i cant get the voice command prompt to come up. My other problem is that the unit hasn't b
  4. ...can someone please tell me if they got all 9 speakers to work
  5. the guy at the audio shop said that all of the speakers should work after the install and if they dont i should bring it back and theyll re do the install to get the speakers to work so i guess ill have to wait and see, im dropping off my car wed.
  6. o and just to clear what you said up...technically the 4 pre outs on the f90bt should be able to handle all 9 of the speakers i have, right?
  7. i am going to an audio shop now to talk to them about it, ill post later with my results. its just a bit confusing when 2 different places give you 2 different answers
  8. i just remembered something about an amp bypass...so im guessing that means the stock amp is rendered useless...isnt there a way you can combine some of the speaker wires so all of them would work...like solder 2 speaker wires together so those 2 speakers would be playing the same thing, but they would be working
  9. from what i understand you have the 9 speaker system in your saab...i have a 2003 saab 9-5 with the same stereo set up but i was told only 4 of my speakers would work when this was installed...were you able to get all of your speakers to work?
  10. ive looked through the majority of the posts here and could not find anything on this, so forgive me if i just over looked it. i have a 2003 saab 9-5 with the 9 speaker sound system, 2 of the speakers being subwoofers. ive been comparing prices back and forth between best buy and a local audio shop for just about a month now and not until yesterday someone at best buy told me that only 4 of my speakers would work once i switched from the stock head unit to the f90bt. is this true? ive talked to at least 5 different people about this who all knew that i had 9 speakers and losing 5 of those
