  1. I might be willing to pay a little bit plus shipping. PM me what your thinking.
  2. 3 SD cards? I used a single 2gb SD card loaded with all those files at once and had no problems. By the way 3.0 seems awesome so far much more responsive and the nav looks way better.
  3. The second pic there is identical to our current units. Just press the album art while playing the ipod. I am curious about that fuel mileage calculator.
  4. I was looking around on mp3car.com (forum for carpcs) and i stumbled upon this car pc with voice control software i know it is a car pc but it works 1000 times better than the F-series. Just thought i would make a few of you jealous. By the way i do love my F90bt but a car pc would be another fun route.
  5. sounds like you are zoomed out very far. Does it look like a globe? Next time try pushing up on the knob to zoom in.
  6. I play most my mp3s off of DVD discs. I noticed the unit supports dual layer DVDs but i was wondering if there is a file limit? For some reason i was thinking it had a limit of 999 files per disc but i can't seem to find that in the manual. Does anyone know if it has a file limit?
  7. Very interesting i have always wanted an ipod strictly for the car that didn't cost $300 and had more storage. I'll keep an eye on this.
  8. Agreed overall a very nice unit. Definitely comes with the most features for your buck.
  9. i ended up changing my timezone to adjust for daylight savings time along with turning off autocorrection to get the correct time on my avic. But i noticed 2 days ago i got in and my clock was an hour off again so i turned on autocorrection and put back my timezone to the correct one and it is now working correctly. Has everyone's unit adjusted by now? I guess it turned out it was only off by about a week instead of a month like expected.
  10. I am one of the few people it seems that does not own an ipod but i am wondering if that is the best way to play music on the f90bt. I play mp3 DVDs which start playing in 7 seconds or so after i turn the key. Would an ipod be worth it for me if i only planned on using it in the car? I would take it out only to load new music. How does the ipod playback compare to a flashdrive because i have noticed the USB port to leave some things desired. So to people with ipods do you prefer to play music off your ipod on the f series over CDs, DVDs or flash memory?
  11. Interesting But i have amped component speakers up front too and my previous pioneer unit(DEH-7800) with 5 volt outputs gave me zero hiss. Could this be from me going from 5 volts down to 4? I haven't even changed the gain setting on my amp either.
  12. I seem to get a very slight hiss in the background while playing a CD. Does anyone else get this? It is only noticeable when the song gets quiet but it does increase as i increase the volume so at high volumes it gets quite noticeable during a quiet part. And to anyone that has done the silent beeps mod do you still get a little bit of a sound when clicking buttons at low volume levels? Just asking because i wasn't sure if i had a bad silent .wav file or if that is normal.
  13. I have been looking at trying leetlauncher with the new maps but i was wondering how well the new maps work with the avic software. Does the song title still show up in the corner and does it still show the current time in the top right? Will incoming calls still work correctly? And does this make the unit take longer to boot up? And what maps do people seem to like the most? Any help would be great just wondering if i should give this a go or not.
  14. ya me either but i would love a hack that gets rid of the box and maybe adds a small line in a corner that shows your connected and the contacts name. Maybe it could just replace the song name in the map screen.
  15. I agree the in-call phone screen makes to rest of the unit useless. I have found out that if you enter the vehicle while on the phone when the unit connects to your bluetooth phone and transfers to your stereo you will not have the box but be connected the same way (atleast always works for me). The unit works exactly like it does without a phone call and you even still have the ability to end the call by clicking in the knob.
