it did this to me too, the first time after i put the NT base map in the TA folder, when i rebooted it error-ed out and said it could not find maps. what i noticed was that it renamed the opposite folder (maps_ta) and i had to rename it back to just maps may not be your experience but worth looking at, maybe it did happen to me once, what i did is renamed everything to what it was before then it never happened again

i know... it really not a biggie,everyone know where there house is (EXCEPT FOR WEEKENDS ) but it would be cool if there was an option to set current location as home, i think my portable Garmin does but not sure, i know it is dead on with my address. should i follow the links and replace my current base maps? i already have navteq and ta 2009.6 you could, not really sure if that would help regarding the house number being off

first off, search the thread and download the hacked ezrider.exe for 3.0, then search for licences and then download 3dl and 3dc file hacked ezrider.exe is a replacement for that stock, what it does is it accepts other licenses so that you could use other maps (NAVTEQ) or an updated version of TELEATLAS maps, it also has something to do with the building files, 3dl and 3dc files correspond to the actual building files for your area, so let's say you're in chicago, search for 3DL and 3DC file for chicago, but, let's say that your area doesn't have it (like from where i'm from) it still

Is the signboard issue fixed? yes, i found the culprit, for those guys who wants a quickfix regarding the signboard bug open your navigatemap.ui and look for this script and and change it to as you can see a simple coding error like having " " on your variable could have a serious effect on the navi, for those who doesn't want to do this a minor update will be out this weekend with that fixed and a minor bug i found in the planmode screen

as far as i know tripcomputer problems cannot be caused by maps at all, no one has resolved this problem and no one has a clue how to, i have been using trip computer ever since and have not had any problem with the tripcomputer, this is i think a problem with either the unit or iGO itself, regarding the signboard, NAVTEQ maps don't have that much detail (signboard, speed limit signs, turn restrictions) as compared to teleatlas maps, well atleast here in canada, that's why the signboard is not showing up

Could it be corrupt images? I may be off base but some of the key images will not open and if i view them in a folder windows can't render a thumbnail image? i downloaded everything again and they come out the same but i am wondering if this is why changing the sky image in the gfx folder fixes some problems? notice in the screen shot you can see some images as thumbnails and not others and not the moon.bmp? is this what is causing the errors in certain schemes and why i never get a big moon? is this normal or is this part of the problem? it's not sorrupt, it's a compressed image
