Hey IDT, Love, the mod if you get this signboard thing figured out, it will be good to go...also can you use any schemes with your mod or only the schemes you have in your data zip file. having the signboard running is not a problem, it's the time that im more worried about, still working almost double shift everyday so not really not much time to mod

BUG ALERT, just confirmed that the signboard is not showing up, though the lane info works, i'm going to work on a fix and have it by tomorrow or saturday morning Can you let me know what needs to be changed to make the signboard work so that I can make the changes myself instead of doing all that work to recolour the mod again. what map version or map provider are you using, i had the street number coded that way as one of the EU users pointed it out to be on the wrong side, map version or map provider Russia83N_2009.Q2_091104.fbl; Russia83TA_2009.09_091026 i'll update the EU zip hopefully this weekend to fix this

i compared both EU zip files with the regular and can say that they are the same, could you try using the regular zip or the msn zip and see if it's still wrong, also, what map are you using? provide me with the map version and country and a destination where you always get wrong address and i will work on it on the weekend I checked twice with the EU, alternate EU version 3.0.2.5 - with both it's wrong. With the previous version and Diaftia mod everything is ok. I use TA 2009.9 maps. I saw that all mu fav, home are now placed in the wrong places. Maybe it's connected with it. Norm

I just found this out too. The hard way. How do i fix this. I tried going back to my pioneer cards and reinstalling 3.0. Wont read the cards, prolly cause its the current version. just boot to testmode and rename map to map_nt and map_ta to map, dnt forget to delete the contents of save folder

Maddog, Are you using Navteq or teleatlas maps? I have noticed in the past that Navteq maps will not show road signs but Teleatlas does. I will try a route here in a few and get back to you. that is a good point, i have read somewhere's too that there's not much map data on the NAVTEQ maps

Yes, I think you might need to incorporate the whole 3D cars thing. I know there are some threads on it and that IDT at one point even packaged up the 3D cars thing to port to other mods. Not sure if he still has that available or not. the link is still up, you can find it in the IDT thread, instructions are in there also

on the map changer page there's a map button, click that and see what map version its currently reading, if it's reading the basemap then it means that it's reading the map_nt folder (which will be named map onw since swithced), this is how the changer works, the executable file renames folders that's why it needs to restart, so having the map and map_nt folder in the content folder when the file is executed the map turns into map_ta and the map_nt turns to map, that is the concept of it, go to testmode and check if you have map_nt or map_ta, if you have map_ta then it means it did the renamin

in MYFLASHDISK\APL2\IGO\CONTENT and not in iGO folder, create a new folder and name it as map_nt, basemap.fbl should be found in your current map folder in MYFLASHDISK\APL2\IGO\CONTENT , there is a way for iGO to read content files from storage card (SD), i will still have to try this out but it won't be that hard as you just need to add something in the sys.txt for this to work, i'll have it figured out soon when i get a chance and have instructions for it,
