I read something about if you play audio from SD Card it will not interrupt music for navigation. COuld be wrong.

So I made a discovery today. I was having same problem most BB owners are. The phone keeps connecting and disconnecting. Well today I was changing the oil in my STi and I got in the car and started it up. I was playing with navi and all of a sudden the screen said my phone was connected.....????..... and it stayed connected. I then though to myself... "where in the world is my phone?". My phone was in the garage, which is almost 20' from the car.. So I grabbed my phone and walked back to the car ans sat down. Guess what it disconnected, connected, disconnected... grrrr s

firmware on my unit says 1700 And yes all my presets are holding fine - Mike

1) How do I lock the map view to my car so I am always looking forward? In the past I clicked on the compass, I hate this view where my car is always moving around and I have to refer back to what is North 2) Does VR only work with songs on ipod? 3) My unit says I have the firmware in, however I am suffering from all the earlier issues reported still. I can barely see the screen when set to 10 brightness, Samantha stutters like a retard when reading me directions, VR barely works, Bluetooth wont connect. 4) Everytime I goto the map screen the system asks me to set my time zone....

same problem here My 8830 connected when I first installed the unit and I made 2 calls with no problems. Then I put my phone in its case and it said "disconnected" on the navi. Since then I have not been able to get it to connect. It just keeps saying "connected" / "disconnected" over and over for almost 30 minutes. I tried re-sync'ing I also reset my phone. No luck. I just turned off the bluetooth on my phone because the box would keep popping up and it would also slow my navi down.

1) Is the SD card reader on the 900BT limited to 2GB? 2) On 2008 STI, where did you guys tap the reverse wire? Thanks, Mike

What wire is it on the Gauge Cluster?

Anyone know what wire I tap on the Gauge cluster of an 07' STI for VSS (AVIC-D2)? Thanks, Mike

So I moved my D2 from my WRX into my new STI just unhooked the harness and plugged into my STI harness. No new cutting or splicing of anythign needed. However when I accelerate I hear a whine cming from the speakers (only if nothign is playing or the volume is low or unit is in standby). I am confised because it sounds liek a ground issue but its the same harness as my WRX and I had no problem there any ideas???

Look into the Avox Jukebox. Its great!
