  1. I found the link that shows that the clasic will work with software version 1.1.1 well mine doesnt and i assume it has a diffrent software version how do i install the proper version onto my my ipod and where can i get it? and how do i find out the software thats on mine now? On the back it says model#mp102 but now sure how to access the properties on it. thanks
  2. is there any fixes for this? i mean no preset info when using the HD an d Sirius? what about XM? there has to be an update fix for this no?
  3. dont tell me its the same for sirius presets! It wont show the presets on there either. man this unit sucks! get what you pay for i guess!
  4. so what is it that i need? a splitter with 1 female with 2 male antennas? can someone post a pic, part number or whatever of what i need? thanks
  5. thanks guys! can i get the splitter and extra lead to HU at say radio shack?
  6. so i need to take a splitter and plug in the car antena to it while the splitter goes to the HD (for hd fm am etc) and then the other split end to go to the unit? so basically antenna to both hd and unit for all to work? thanks John
  7. had msn direct transfered to my new HU from old one that died (which had msn direct) however, now i cant get it to get a signal. i called them and they said i needed to be in an open area unobstructed (which i very well am! after all, msn was working fine with my last HU which was the same f900bt and same location) the only diffrence from this 900 bt is that i installed the HD module with it so if MSN comes through antenna, it may not work! frustrating thing is, is that i asked their support techs about the HD module and they didnt even know what it was (asked on 3 seperate calls to 3 diff r
  8. found the problem it was a loose rca connection. n ot really sure how it happened but prob from opening and closing glove box. thanks for the help
  9. whats the deal with the presets not showing up in order from top to bottom with the HD unit installed? all it shows when programmed is "::" or something like that. you basically have to guess what number preset a certain station is on? please tell me theres a way to fix this. If there is no way to fix this, Pioneer really sucks as this feature is really used alot. Thanks
  10. not sure what happened. has anyone had this problem or know whats going on? basically pulled the unit out, switched the mute wire to its new spot, plugged it back up and all i get is the fan to spin (unit gets power) the fronts and rears to hum and the subs pop upon plugging/unplugging sub outputs, and the screen is dead. Help! thanks! John
  11. thanks for the tip. not sure why the avic screen states the parameters it does. you actually hel. pioneer doesnt! john
  12. yea ive done all that. i have not pulled the unit like orig post says. so it can only be the unit, loose plug at unit or bad rca cable all of which are extremely unlikely however being a bad unit wouldnt surprise me. its pretty disappointingly slow. John
